Once the child was asleep, the apartment became completely tranquil, aside from the sound of water flowing in the kitchen and the crisp clinking of dishware; the living room was as serene as a lake that had fallen into total stillness.
Ye Ning didn’t think too much of it; she too wanted to tidy up and then go to sleep, as she was also very tired today.
