"Manager Qin, we are in trouble!" Xuan Wen, Qin Chanpu's assistant came rushing in. Panic all over his face. "That bastard Xu Jiayi... He...he...!"
Qin Chanou was already in difficult straight. Hearing Xu Jiayi name, he realized it could be anything but good. "Stop stuttering. Blast it, what happened now?!"
"Manager, you better see for yourself." As he said he brought forward a small tablet. A live video was ongoing. It appeared to be a press conference, the participants being Xu Jiayi and his assistants. With big bold red letters, the title hovered over.
Since Qin Chanpu head was spinning, he couldn't form a coherent sentence. But he still picked up words like. 'Exposing' 'Fu Entertainment' 'Predator' 'Manager Qin'.
Fingers trembling, he grasped onto the tablet and listened to a few words.
"Journalist Jiayi, you do not fear repercussions? As it appears to be in the case of minors, the court prohibited the victim name from being released."
"If it's justice that being compromised, I don't fear repercussions." The man fixed his spectacles. Many of the viewers came online to enjoy this feast to the eye than the actual content. Xu Jiayi was not only known for his work ethic but also for his young and fresh looks amid the masses of round-bellied, wrinkled faced journalists. "And in its case, the perpetrators have threatened the victim's security. At this, at her own initiative, the victim allowed me to make her name public."
There was a hush of astonished whispers.

Not soon after, Xu Jiayi gestured to a side and a girl of fifteen or sixteen waked forward. Timidness peeked through her every gesture. She was donned in a simple, white dress that somehow amplified her innocence. Not only that, the manner of her approach, the way she cast shy, reticent glances at the masses invoked pity in people's hearts.

Su Xiuying had recently played the lead in a moderately well-doing drama series. Her placement in the series was such that it left a deep impression in people minds. Despite it being a year, people still remembered her face. Some even looked up to her appearance in the subsequent follow-ups of the series.
So the crowd went ablaze with uproar. Many mikes were thrust into her face, everyone wanted to extract a comment from her.
Xu Jiayi gestured and security pushed back the reporters.
When the noise settled down to an extent, Su Xiuying became seated and in an organized manner, narrated the whole incident.

But after the drama series climbed up in ratings, the person in question couldn't bear to see Su Xiuying earning all those accolades and conspired with Qin Chanpu, slipped something into her drink at a party and they humiliated her.
Her words, her diffidence, her humbleness and heartbreak—it all created a beautiful blend. The story was so heart touching and sensational and with Xu Jiayi leading it, the viewership went up to unprecedented numbers.
People could feel the pain. The once bubbly, cheerful girl who led the role in the series was broken down by those monsters into this reticent, guarded girl.
Soon this story was the only one being covered on the major media sites.
And everyone knew this was going to be the hot topic this week - no - perhaps with the extent of it, it won't die down this whole month!
Qin Chanpu staggered back, face devoid of blood, falling back and sagging into his chair.
"Manager Qin, what should we do now?" Xuan Wen asked in uncertainty. This had become big already. And the matter would not stop at that. Those persistent reporters would dig out one big thing from Qin Chanpu dirty past to other to make it into headlines while the issue was still hot. And as someone who had been involved in most shady things Qin Chanpu did, Xuan Wen could not slip out unscathed either.
As if Qin Chanpu heard Xuan Wen thoughts, he broke out of a daze and woke up. "No, this won't do. I'm am not going down like this."
Getting up, he slammed opened the door and in brisk steps, made his way to Chen Ying.
While Qin Chanpu was struggling to prevent his imminent death, the upper management in Fu Entertainment wasn't faring well. An emergency meeting was called and as everyone sat around the table discussing how to resolve this issue, the people in the PR department were pulling out their hair in frustration.
Fu Jianguo had just suffered a severe admonishment from his grandfather, there was even a threat to eliminate his position. So he had called everyone to resolve this issue while he endlessly engaged this person, that person from media agencies to not give air to the fire.
"It was alright if it was anyone else. But the case is led by Xu Jiayi. He is not just someone from slums who got into media. He has a solid background." Someone said as they discussed.
"How about... We try to contact and force Su Xiuying to step down?" One of many whose dirty secrets were in Qin Chanpu hands feared that Qin Chanpu won't go down quietly. So they jumped into his defence and proposed one after another way to resolve this situation whilst helping him out.
"That's impossible." Surprisingly the person who interjected was Shen Yue, Su Xiuying current manager. She had kept her quiet till now. "That girl has a strong mind. I know her. Since she has taken this step, she won't step down. With us forcing her, it will only deteriorate the situation."
"Manager Shen... Then you mean to say..."
"There is now only one way out of this situation."
