"This iron vehicle... is it similar to things from your hometown?" Olivia watched as her husband skillfully drove the metal carriage, curiously touching things in the back seat and looking out the window with suspicion, "Could it be that we are now in your homeland?"
"No, I’m sure this is not my homeland ’Earth,’ and I’m afraid it’s not the place we were living in before." Leon turned the steering wheel, choosing a direction entirely different from the tracks of those who had previously escaped, and sped onto the highway.
"In my homeland, although there are stories of vampire monsters, they are probably all fake. Moreover, the details of this vehicle and those firearms, both inside and out, don’t resemble anything from my homeland."
Leon glanced at the rearview mirror, seeing the distant but increasingly smaller countryside estate, recognizing the familiar clock on the building’s dome. He frowned but had to set aside his doubts to focus on retreating from there.
After driving along the highway for over ten minutes, the buildings behind were completely out of sight. Seeing no pursuers and no helicopters in the sky, Leon gradually felt relieved.
He kept the vehicle’s speed at its highest gear, racing at such a speed that, even without identifying the unfamiliar characters on the dashboard, Leon could tell by the objects moving in reverse outside the window that it was over 250 kilometers per hour.
Perhaps this speed would be considered severe speeding both in this world and on Earth.
In his past life, he naturally never dared to drive , but now, he could run at such a speed on short bursts with just his legs. Only unlike the vehicle, he couldn’t sustain it. With bullet-sharp reflexes, this speed was entirely manageable for him.
However, after traveling over sixty kilometers, the sides of the road remained barren.
The barren land reminded Leon of a netherworld where everything withered and fell into dead silence beneath a clouded sky.

The girl turned her head, her eyes sparkling, "Can we make such a powerful magic iron vehicle in Avalon? With this, we could go from Avalon to Oran City in just two or three coins, faster than giant claws, and reach wherever we want instantly."
Leon’s laughter was stirred by Olivia’s expectations. He shook his head helplessly while staring at the road ahead, "Creating this iron vehicle is very complex, and it can only run on the straight road below. Besides, even building a smooth road to Oran is a task beyond the kingdom’s power; perhaps in a few hundred or thousand years, our children might witness such things."

Those figures were bodies already shriveled into Corpse Ghosts.
She turned her head to look at Leon at the wheel, "Could that Blood Demon have used magic to transport us to a place where it started a magical disaster?"
Leon pondered and nodded, "I guess that’s exactly it. We’re likely no longer in our original world, just like how I came from Earth to your world. It’s just that the Demon sent both of us here with our bodies to this unfamiliar plane, and it seems that this place too has suffered the Spirit Realm Demon’s harm."
Olivia, having studied Ancient Lorelette Language with everyone, thoroughly understanding Magic Science, and knowing her beloved was an exotic visitor after their marriage, naturally grasped the concept of different planes. Hearing this, her face turned pale.
"What do we do? Can we go back?"
Leon waved reassuringly to the back, "Don’t worry, Ines and I have even been to the future and returned, haven’t we? Just a different plane, no big deal. Since the Blood Demon could send us here, there must be a way back."
Hearing his confident and reassuring words, Olivia let out a long breath and calmed down.
Leon glanced at the rearview mirror, noticing his little lioness relaxed and leaning back into her seat, silently suppressing his anxiety.
As a transmigrator, he had, out of curiosity, seriously delved into the theory of different planes in Summoning Spirit, and wondered if there might be a way to return to Earth, but the conclusion was harsh.
