Charlotte said cheerfully, rummaging through her basket bag. She pulled out two packages. They were wrapped in colorful wrapping paper that looked like something a woman would like, with pretty ribbons tied around them.
It seemed like she had managed to buy what she wanted.
Eruca and Miaha peeked in from behind Allen.
"Oh, that’s from the newly opened general store, right?"
"That place is the hottest spot in town, nya! Charlotte-san, you wanted to shop there, nya?"

Seeing the two of them, Charlotte stiffened slightly, looking a bit nervous.
The three of them exchanged puzzled glances at her reaction, but before long, Charlotte swallowed hard and firmly held out the two packages.
"Th-these are… presents for Eruca-san and Miaha-san!"

Charlotte's expression softened as she watched the two of them having fun.
She must have been quite worried about whether they would like her presents.
The three girls giggled together, their laughter filling the air.
It was a very heartwarming sight. If anyone ruined the mood, it would almost certainly be a serious crime.
But... Allen simply couldn't stand this atmosphere.
