Allen raised one hand slightly to Charlotte, who had widened her eyes.

As an afterthought, he chanted a spell, producing a large orb of light. Though many Noble Dragons still lingered deep in the shaft, the faint, flickering glow of the magic was enough to illuminate the darkness.
“It’s true Noble Dragons nullify magic. So I just had to overpower them with greater magic.”
『Heh… amusing.』
Gosetsu clenched a branch in his jaws, glaring up at Allen with a slow, deliberate menace.
Pure murderous intent surged from his body. The surrounding monsters flinched as if filled with it.
Charlotte shouted in a panic as the atmosphere became tense.
“Allen-san! Gosetsu is planning to invade the Kingdom of Neils…! You have to stop him!”
"Hmm, as expected."
“Huh…?”
Charlotte blinked in surprise.
Luu had already told Allen that her kidnapper was none other than the hell capybara Gosetsu.
Naturally, the motive became clear.
