Legendary Beast Master: Starting with Contracting SSS Rank Dragon Chapter 5

Aaron had guessed that absorbing the mana of an Ancient being like Draven would change him, and he had also felt those changes.

But it still shocked him to know that he was a Dragon. It filled him with excitement, as dragons were extremely rare and every single one of them was a force to reckon with.

If he was a Dragon—and a Legendary one at that—he would have so much potential to grow stronger. That was the exact thing he had wanted all along.

Still, he calmed his emotions and said,

"Legendary Dragon? That sounds powerful."

Unlike humans who had classes, non-human races were dependent on their Race and Bloodline, which usually went through evolution.

There were around eight Tiers for evolution, similar to how classes had eight Tiers. They were: Common, Uncommon, Unusual, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, and finally Divine.

He had skipped so many Tiers and directly reached the Legendary Tier, which was already the rarest Tier in the world.

Mythic was the stuff of legends, and Divine was only said to be held by the Gods.

It also made him wonder just how strong Draven really was if even his residual mana could evolve someone directly to the Legendary Tier.

"Hehe, excited? You should be, because you are the first ever Legendary Dragon. Anyways, back to the topic. Because of your Evolution, you don't have a name, so I will give you one."

Aaron shifted in place and almost looked up at Draven. Names were very important in this world, as they represented you to the world and acted as the nexus of one's connection with the world and the Gods.

They received the status screen through their names as a medium.

"I don't know much about naming, but isn't it slightly different in non-human races?" Aaron asked curiously.

"They usually do the Master-Subordinate naming, but we are doing the Equal one. This won't give you additional benefits, but I doubt you want to have me as your master."

Aaron nodded. Even though he was grateful to Draven, he didn't want anyone to have authority over him.

"From today onwards, you are neither Aaron nor Mike. You are the First Legendary Dragon—Kaelveros, the Dragon of Doom."

Instantly, he felt minor changes within him as a warm feeling enveloped his entire being. Closing his eyes, he felt a faint yet profound connection with the world around him—and also with the dragon standing beyond the Boundary.

It was subtle, but he could sense the link between them.

Since it was an equal naming, he didn't receive any new skills or abilities, but he finally had a name.

Suppressing his excitement, he whispered, "Status."

[Name: Kaelveros]

[Race: Legendary Silver Dragon (Tier 6)]

[Rank: F]

[Evolution Perks: ...]

His eyes glistened as he looked at the perks of being a Legendary Dragon. Sadly, the majority of the things were locked because of his low rank.

But he was fine with that, as he would have likely died just by using them. So, he looked at the ones he could use currently.

[Dragon Breath: A powerful elemental burst.]

[Increment: 3x Soul Power.]

[Soul Forge: Allows forging of skills into weapons and Artefacts.]

[Immortality Seed (Dormant): Slows aging to a crawl. Death from time no longer applies.]

[Draconic Constitution: Vastly increased regeneration, durability, and mana circulation.]

[Primal Instinct: Allows natural resistance against illusions, spiritual probing, and most mental debuffs.]

'Goddamn! All of them are OP as hell—and there are so many others still locked,' Aaron, now Kael, took a deep breath to calm his pounding heart.

No wonder the Legendary Tier was so rare in the Evolution Tree. The skills and passive boosts this Tier gave were just too much.

It was simply ridiculous.

He wanted to explore more of his system, but Draven's voice interrupted him.

"I want to sleep, so make it quick. Just see your Ultimate Skill."

"I have an Ultimate Skill?" Kael exclaimed in shock.

Ultimate Skills were very rare, and only those who had completed Evolution up to at least Tier 4 could awaken one—but even for them, it was rare.

Only after Tier 5 Evolution did one have higher chances of gaining an Ultimate Skill. They were called Ultimate for a reason, as they basically allowed one to twist the world's laws to their desires.

The only other way was to awaken an Ultimate Skill at the start—just like he had awakened his Unique Skill. But that was basically asking for the impossible.

Once again filled with excitement, he looked at his Ultimate Skill and its description.

---

[Name: Beast Sovereign of Dominion]

[Type: Ultimate Skill]

[Rank: –]

[Description: A transcendent skill forged from the convergence of beast soul resonance and draconic authority. Allows the user to form pacts with intelligent beings, beasts, or monsters—regardless of race—as long as the will and desire align.]

---

[Core Effects —]

[Pact Authority:]

→ Can tame any intelligent creature if conditions are met (weakened state, soul opening, loyalty, or submission).

→ Taming Gods or divine beings requires Divine-level willpower or a massive price.

[Skill Resonance:]

→ Can copy skills from each bonded being.

→ Copied abilities scale with user's own tier. Cannot stack Ultimate Skills—only one at a time.

→ You can share your skills with your bonded being.

[Shared Growth:]

→ The more bonds you form, the more your own evolution accelerates.

→ Each tamed creature grows faster while under your command.

[Beast Echo:]

→ Partial fusion with beast traits during combat.

[Commandment Aura:]

→ When near his tamed beasts, boosts their stats and coordination. Passive effect.

→ Beasts within range gain resistance to fear, confusion, and corruption.

Kael stood rooted in his spot, looking at the hologram before him with eyes wide open in shock.

Still, he was already too shocked from so many things, so he reined in his emotions and said, "This is fucking broken."

"Isn't it? It's one of my favorite Ultimate Skills—even though it's not that strong in direct combat. Anyways, now that you have your Ultimate Skill and also the status screen, you can leave."

Perhaps the dragon remembered that Kael had no way to return, so he asked, "Where do you want to go? I will help you one last time."

Kael didn't answer the question directly as a grin formed on his lips, and he asked instead,

"Say, old man, how about you become my first contracted being?"
