Leveling Up with 99,999 Points: I Tame Every Magical Beast Chapter 63

The sea roared even louder. Massive waves crashed against the shore. The soldiers retreated, but Crowne did not. Soon after, something emerged from the water that made all the soldiers gulp in fear.

A gigantic shadow slowly surfaced. Two long horns pierced through the waves, followed by a horrifying body covered in dark blue scales. Its eyes glowed red like burning embers, and from its back extended eight spiked tentacles.

Crowne clenched his weapon tightly. He glanced behind him. The soldiers had already backed away, their faces pale with fear.

"Good. At least they won’t get in my way," Crowne said.

He stared at the creature without fear. "So you’re the one who’s been killing the fishermen and terrorizing Doomsty City, huh?" he muttered. It reminded him of his battle against the Undead Ogre.

The monster stayed silent, standing and observing its surroundings before locking eyes with Crowne. The two stared at each other. The monster seemed interested in Crowne.

"So, you’re the one who killed my underlings?" the monster said, pointing at Crowne. "You will die."

The small beast perched on Crowne’s shoulder, the Soldier Rabbit, tapped its spear twice against his shoulder as if getting excited.

"All right, ready?" asked Crowne.

The rabbit nodded confidently, then leaped down.

The sea monster opened its mouth wide. Its roar shook the air like thunder in the night. A shockwave spread out, striking the sand and throwing several soldiers backward. Crowne’s body was pushed two steps by the force.

He dug his feet firmly into the ground.

"Oh, you’re strong, huh."

Crowne raised his right hand. His Dwarfwood Chainblade was ready to strike. He glanced around. His other beasts were also fighting the lesser sea monsters nearby. Their numbers were still increasing.

"Let’s go!" shouted Crowne.

The chain at the base of the blade shot out at high speed. His dagger appeared behind the sea monster. Crowne quickly pulled it back.

The dagger was deflected, but blood dripped from the monster’s neck. However, the wound healed instantly.

"You’re quite impressive, human," the monster said.

One second later, the creature appeared right in front of Crowne, throwing a heavy punch toward his face.

Crowne’s body was sent flying backward. The monster didn’t stop there. It lunged forward to strike again, but something appeared right in front of its face.

Blood dripped from the monster’s eye. It glanced at Crowne’s left shoulder and saw a rabbit holding a spear, standing firmly.

The moment the monster lost focus on Crowne, he moved instantly and appeared behind it. He raised his sword, ready to slash at its neck.

The monster sneered. "A cheap trick!"

At that instant, the tentacles on its back moved and lashed toward Crowne. He swung his weapon swiftly.

The tentacles were severed by Crowne’s strikes.

"Aaaarrrgh!" the monster screamed.

Crowne threw his dagger again, leaping backward at the same time.

He was about to pull the chain back when the monster suddenly caught the dagger midair.

Crowne’s body was dragged several steps forward, his strength barely keeping him balanced. The monster opened its mouth wide, preparing to fire a magic blast.

Something appeared behind the sea monster. A spear pierced through its neck in an instant. The creature turned around and fired a laser beam toward the Soldier Rabbit.

The rabbit slammed the shaft of its spear against its own chest. At that moment, its body was pushed downward, barely dodging the blast, though blood spilled from its mouth due to the recoil.

"You let your guard down!" Crowne taunted.

Crowne was already in front of the monster, crouched low, ready to swing upward with his sword.

The creature tried to dodge, but it was too late. The wooden blade cut through the monster’s front with a powerful strike.

Blood poured heavily. The monster was almost split in half, saved only by its crimson bones.

The monster roared in fury, swinging two more tentacles toward Crowne.

Crowne spun his chained weapon and leaped back, but one tentacle slammed into the sand in front of him, sending fragments flying everywhere.

The Soldier Rabbit dashed forward like lightning, jumped, and thrust its spear into one of the monster’s eyes.

The monster screamed even louder. Thick blood sprayed across the beach. It was almost collapsing.

Crowne didn’t waste the opportunity.

"Perfect!" he shouted.

He swung his Chainblade, the chain released and spun through the air, wrapping swiftly around the creature’s neck.

Crowne pulled with all his strength. The dagger shot forward at blinding speed, and the monster had no time to react.

This was the end of the battle.

Crowne smiled, thinking it was over, but suddenly the seawater rose, touching his feet. At that same moment—

The dagger that was about to slice through the monster’s neck was deflected. The creature’s body began to grow larger.

It was healing! The wound on its neck closed rapidly, its skin turning into a dark purple hue. Its gaze became sharper and far more menacing.

Crowne frowned. "Damn it. It’s getting stronger."

At the same time, the soldiers were only spectators. They watched Crowne fighting the sea monster, something none of them had ever seen before.

"Can he do it?" one of the soldiers whispered.

No one could answer. The monster before them was far too powerful, especially since sea monsters grew stronger when in contact with water.

The fight had moved to the edge of the shore. It was the perfect battlefield for the creature. The source of thɪs content is novel-fire.ɴet

"Send a report to the commander! This could get bad if we don’t get support soon!" another soldier shouted.

Several of them nodded and ran off to deliver the report.

This was their best chance, since the monster they had been hunting for months finally appeared.

"I’m sure with his help, that thing can be defeated. If we win, Doomsty City will finally be safe," one soldier said.

He smiled with hope. He was sick of hearing about people dying every day. It was truly terrifying.

"Thank you," he whispered toward Crowne.
