"I’ve heard quite an interesting story.
Those Third Level staff, with their exaggeratedly active cellular metabolism and strong digestive capacities, can barely sustain their basic needs with just meat and high-calorie foods.
So initially, the first Enhanced Persons to reach Second Rank Life simply had to sit on the toilet all day, eating and defecating continuously until those scientists urgently synthesized some special nutrient pastes to end that ridiculous state.
But even with those nutrient pastes, it’s hard to sustain their intense combat exertions.
This also leads to the difficulty for these powerhouses to go on missions; they can only stay in one place to reduce their energy consumption, gnawing on those unappetizing things every day.
Plus, their bodies are too strong.
Ordinary pleasures provide little stimulation for them.

But they are different from us Enhanced Persons.

Brian caught the scent of marijuana from it.
Tagg lit one up and took a deep drag, then exhaled a satisfying puff of smoke,
"To be honest, sometimes I think Mutants are the true evolved beings.
Their strength increases without any impact on their senses, unlike us.
Now when I drink or smoke, I hardly feel anything, and getting rough with women often leaves them battered, which is no fun at all."
Hearing this, Brian smiled and remained silent.
