The man looking down at her studied her for a few seconds, as if trying to bore a hole into her with his gaze. Then, within the obsidian-like eyes, a severe psychological struggle flashed, as if wrestling with a tough decision. After a full two minutes, darkness finally overcame coldness. “Shi-t! Enna Clark, you are definitely sent from above to torment me!”
That single phrase seemed to be squeezed out from between his teeth!
Before leaning down, he didn’t forget to remind her, “Let me say this first, no matter what you do, I won’t back down from what we agreed on last night.
