Three days later…
Lu Xinyi stared at her reflection of herself on the mirror at their bathroom. With her shirt pulled up below her chest, her eyes scrutinized the blob of fat that wasn’t on her body before. She really did gain weight for the past weeks.
A little bump on her lower tummy could pass as a baby bump. No wonder Madam Shen thought she was pregnant.
Since the chocolate incident, Shen Yi had insisted that she would only have two servings of desserts each day, and she would have to remove the chocolate bars and unhealthy chips from her shopping list. Lu Xinyi begrudgingly complied knowing that it would be for the best, but heck, waking up early in the morning wasn’t what she wanted as a punishment.
What the hell happened to ‘I have a better idea how to help you lose weight?’
Such a bummer. Lu Xinyi pouted.
Opening their bedroom door, she stared at her sleeping husband. With a broad grin, she ran and vaulted towards him and landed on him with a loud thud. Shen Yi, who was sleeping peacefully, grunted as he felt her straddling his waist and shaking his shoulders.
“LU XINYI! Why are you acting like a toddler in such early hour?!” He glared up at her. He took a peek at the time from the clock on their bedside table, only to see it’s only 6 AM. Damn, there went another one hour of his sleep.
Lu Xinyi rolled her eyes. If she was going to suffer, Shen Yi should join her for her morning run. She pulled up her shirt below her chest to let him see her bare stomach.
“I don’t think it will go away soon,” she complained.
Shen Yi ran his huge hands on her bare stomach.
“Congrats, Xinyi. Your food baby is finally showing.” He taunted, which earned him a loud smack from his wife.
“Are you calling me fat?!”
“No, no. Of course not, dear. I’ll still want you even if you become a blob of fat.” Shen Yi grinned and ran his hands on her smooth legs.

To say that Shen Yi was having a bad day was an understatement.
First, his wife had woken him up early in the morning to accompany her with her morning run with their dogs since Shen Xue had decided to skip their morning routine. Second, he received a call that some asshole carnapped his newly-bought car from the parking lot of their office building. Third, Lu Xinyi refused to have morning sex with him since she was still pissed that he forced her to limit her sugar intake.
“I don’t care who’s at fault here, but I want my car back and find that imbecile who dared to carnap it. Charge him with everything possible until he learns his lesson not to take things, especially if it’s mine!” Shen Yi seethed on his phone before disconnecting the line.
Useless security! What they were doing that someone had sneaked in and taken his car?
‘My poor baby, taken by some idiot that couldn’t buy his own car. Ah, do not worry. Daddy will find you, and I will make sure I will mutilate the hands of that thief so he wouldn’t be able to take you away from me.’
“Darling! If you don’t come down here at this instance…” Lu Xinyi’s warning called him back to reality.
With a groan, he changed into a pair of grey sweatpants and a white shirt. He didn’t bother to fix his hair and just ran his fingers through it.
He ran downstairs, only to find out his wife and their dogs left him. He hesitated if he should follow her or not, but with the way her hips moved and her delicious ass called out to him, Shen Yi followed his wife. If any man dared to give her a look, he would poke their eyes and gouge their eyes out from their sockets.
An hour later, the married couple stopped at the local cafe to have breakfast. Since Madam Jin was looking out for the twins and would be preparing their meal once they woke up, Lu Xinyi wasn’t worried.
“Can I have an ice cream?” she asked her husband.
“This morning? Are you forgetting why you are having this morning runs?” He arched a brow at Lu Xinyi.
“Please?” She gave him a puppy look. Goddamnit. He should have known he would never win against her.
Shen Yi grumbled his complaints to himself and bought them an ice cream cone. Lu Xinyi sat beside him on a bench while their two dogs roamed around the area, playing and rolling on the grass.
“Mmm, so yummy,” Lu Xinyi delved into her ice cream, licking it with her tongue unknowingly giving an effect to Shen Yi, or should we say little Yi to be specific.
‘Holy shit. Don’t look! Don’t look!’ He forced himself to look away from his wife, but that tongue was giving him indecent ideas. He shifted on his seat, hoping he wouldn’t get hard from the scene she was giving him.
“If you don’t eat your ice cream, it will melt.” Lu Xinyi told him mid-lick, her lips smeared with her ice cream which made him cursed mentally. Shen Yi swallowed and started eating his ice cream. Who the hell was giving a punishment now?
Lu Xinyi smiled and finished her cone faster than him, finishing it with a loud crunch which made little Yi shrink back to its normal size.
‘Thank goodness,’ Shen Yi sighed. At least he was spared from embarrassing himself in public.
