The next morning, a ray of sunlight shone into the room. The married couple was sleeping lazily on the bed. Shen Yi was holding his wife tightly as if he was afraid that she would leave him while he was asleep.
Lu Xinyi woke up slowly. She opened her eyes and tried to stretch her arms but failed as she felt that she was held in place. She wanted to free herself from her husband’s arms, and when she moved her body to face him, she felt the soreness of her private parts.
“Is it still painful?” Shen Yi’s voice made her tilt up her head to see his face. He was worried that he took her too roughly last night. He understood that she still wasn’t used to their intimacy, and it was normal for her to feel some discomfort or pain. Being the one who was responsible for her pain, it was something that Shen Yi had to bring in terms with himself.
“So what if it is? You’re so lustful! I doubt you will stop if I ask you to,”—Lu Xinyi glared at him—”and no, no morning sex for you!”
With a smug look on his face, Shen Yi told her lovingly, “But Xinyi, I only did it to remind you that you are mine.”
“What? Who said that I am yours?” Lu Xinyi rebutted.
All of the sudden, Shen Yi turned over and pressed himself to her body.
“Do you want me to do it again so you will never forget?” he asked with an evil glint in his eyes.
“Get away from me, you pervert! Leave me alone!”
“Not in this lifetime, my little wife! Until the next one and the next…”
Lu Xinyi pushed him away from her, and he fell on his back with a soft thud. He laughed uncontrollably at her blushing face. It was really nice to tease her.
His laughter was so warm that Lu Xinyi’s lips curved into a smile.

They had already started eating lunch when Shen Xue arrived with a huge paper bag in his hand. Shen Xue didn’t join them for breakfast and had been missing since morning. Lifting a brow at his younger brother, Shen Yi knew Shen Xue had planned something.
“Where have you been?” Shen Yi asked while slicing the meat on his plate before transferring the smaller pieces he cut to his wife’s plate.
Shen Xue took a seat across his sister-in-law before giving the white paper bag to his older brother. Shen Yi gave him a blank look before he pulled open the bag suspiciously. His hand rummaged the bag and picked the item within, without breaking his gaze to his brother.
Lu Xinyi choked on her orange juice when she saw the object her husband took out from the paper bag. Shen Yi threw a deathly ‘I can’t believe you will dare humiliate me and my wife’ glare at Shen Xue. In his hand was a box of Bed Bondage set complete with a whip, ropes, eyepatch, and handcuffs.
Did Shen Xue just imply that he couldn’t please his own wife on their marital bed?
“What’s this for?” Shen Yi’s brows knitted.
“Ah, that’s my wedding gift for you and to Big Sis,” Shen Xue replied nonchalantly. “Do your best, Brother. We need to see little buns soon.” He took a plate and started serving the dish Madam Jin prepared for lunch to himself.
Flush crept up to Lu Xinyi’s face when she realized that her brother-in-law might have heard them last night. Gosh, that was so embarrassing. She wanted to hide her face in shame.
“Oh, yeah. That isn’t the only one in there. Just in case you’re not planning to have kids soon.” Shen Xue filled his mouth with food that his cheeks almost puffed.
Setting aside the nefarious wedding gift that his brother gave to them, Shen Yi poured the rest of the content at the other side of the table. His hand picked up the small boxes that scattered from it. They were in different brands, thickness, and styles.
“Why would I need a condom?” Shen Yi threw back the boxes in the paper bag when he noticed that Lu Xinyi covered her face with both of her hands. Her blush spread to her neck and to her ears. Poor Lu Xinyi.
“I don’t need this.”
“What? Why?!” Shen Xue exclaimed. He spent most of his morning trying to figure out the best wedding gift he could give to his brother.
“You think I’m that small? You’re giving me the wrong size.” Shen Yi threw one of the boxes at Shen Xue’s direction, which he easily caught in the air. Shen Xue’s eyes squinted at the tiny words on the package. Ah, strawberry flavored large size.
“How would I know? I will never dare to look at your junk!”
