Early morning, Mochi Burger Diner.
This diner is quite famous in the area and has been around for decades, with the average age of the chefs and waitstaff around fifty.

The deputy took a big sip of coffee first, to wake up.
Since yesterday afternoon, he had been studying that blood pattern and had looked up a lot of information about vampires, but come evening… he actually couldn't sleep.
Damn it, at his age and still a police officer, he was suffering from insomnia over vampires.
He wasn't a cowardly person.
But after reading too much about vampires, whenever he closed his eyes, he felt as though a pair of crimson eyes were staring at him; even though he knew it was fake, he still felt uneasy.
At his age, to be afraid of vampires, he felt a bit red-faced himself.
But this eerie culture is truly oppressive— fangs, coffins, blood-sucking, darkness; dealing with all this all day, it would be strange if there weren't any problems.

The deputy ate his burger while glancing at the news, an old habit of his.

Yesterday, Luke and Little Black rushed to the agent Jinmu's house and didn't find Jinmu, but instead ran into a group of Angela's fans.
Most of these fans were die-hard ones who attended the new album party the night before.
They were also the last group of people who had contact with Angela, possibly witnesses to the case, so Luke took their statements.
With just Luke and Little Black, they certainly couldn't handle it alone, so they called Raymond and Jenny.
It took the four of them over three hours to complete statements for Angela's fans.
Luke said, "Many of those fans attended the album release party last night, and many of them had been drinking, so their recall of the events isn't very clear.
But they all had one thing in common: none of them liked Jinmu much.
Additionally, these fans belonged to that rather fanatical type, which was quite memorable.
Quite a few of them believe in real vampires."
Little Black continued, "Yeah, this crazy group wore earrings, nose rings, lip rings, chest piercings, belly rings; one nutjob even tattooed Angela's portrait on his girlfriend's back.
Holy moly, what was he thinking?
If I were his girlfriend, I would go insane."
Luke was somewhat amused, "You really do pick out the oddest things."
Little Black laughed, "They're all interesting folks; I wouldn't mind getting to know them better."
"Ahem..." Susan cleared her throat and glared at Little Black, "Raymond, tell us about taking down their statements."
Raymond said, "Many of Angela's fans have priors; they are a group that glorifies bloodshed and violence.
Moreover, according to a fan with a lip ring, he witnessed Angela and Jinmu arguing in the backstage hallway.
If Angela hadn't held him back, he might have beaten up Jinmu."
