"Great. Let me know if you want to check out some of them before renting it." Waller got up from his seat and approached Xavier. Then, he handed Xavier a card and said, "Prices are a bit negotiable so give me a call when you are ready."
After saying that, Waller left with his lackeys.
"Are you really buying an apartment in the upper section?" Lilia asked Xavier in a low voice, just slightly above a whisper.
"Yes. The current one is a bit too small for three people." Xavier responded with a nod.
"Three?" Lilia shot a glare at Lyra, who was sitting in front of her. "Will she be staying with us?"
"I am her caretaker now, so she is my responsibility."
"I see..." Lilia’s face dropped. With a dejected look on her face, she muttered, "Well, since I will be a third wheel now, I will stay in the apartment I am currently living in."
"Are you actually sad about that?" Xavier raised his brow and chuckled softly as he teased Lilia. "Or are you sad that you won’t get to touch my dick in the morning?"
"Shut up!" Lilia puffed her cheeks and turned her face to the side. "You must be happy that you will get to live alone with your pet."
"Me is not a pet!" Lyra hissed.
"Hey, Lilia, you shouldn’t have said that. I don’t know why you are suddenly so upset." He said in a clam voice instead of acting out on his emotions. "Also, I never said I am going to move out alone. You are also moving into the new apartment with me."

"Just drop the excuses. You let me live in your apartment so now it’s my turn. And even without it, we are in a relationship, so it’s natural for me to take care of you."

"No matter how you look at it, that asshole was lying. There is no way he can afford an apartment in the upper section."
"Yeah, just a few days ago, they didn’t have enough money to pay the $8000 rent. And how he wants to buy an apartment that has the rent of a million dollars."
Waller let out a sigh and unlocked his car.
"Just shut up, you guys. Even if he was just joking, it doesn’t matter. I am not losing anything. But if he was serious about it, then my life will be set. Currently, I am in charge of collecting rents of the lower section, but if I am able to sell an apartment in the upper section, my uncle will give me a bonus. I will use that money to start my own real estate business. It’s a golden opportunity for me which I should never miss!"
The lackey didn’t seem interested in Waller’s story at all. They sat in the car while saying, "When you get to the high leagues, don’t forget us, boss."

A bike soared past them.

It was Xavier, and he was on his way to pick Oliver up.

Xavier called Oliver when he reached his house, and Oliver came out immediately, as though he was waiting for Xavier’s call.
"Where are we going?" Oliver asked curiously as he sat on the bike.
"Can you connect to that hacker? I need her help. And I also have to pay her for everything she has done so far."
Oliver called the hacker and asked her for the payment gateway. But the hacker responded that the payment wasn’t urgent and Xavier can pay on a later date if he wants.
Xavier connected to the call and asked the hacker to meet him somewhere. But the hacker turned him down immediately.
