270 The Two Disabled Ones
Fang Xiaonuan walked to the bed and raised her hand to hit Ji Wen on the head. “Shut up! Why are you so loud?”
Then, she deliberately grabbed Ji Wen’s head and pulled out two strands of hair. In Ji Wen and Liu Siyu’s eyes, she seemed to be teaching him a lesson.
“Fang Xiaonuan, I’ll be irreconcilable with you and your husband for the rest of my life!” Ji Wen shouted resentfully, his voice so loud that everyone in the corridor could hear him clearly.
Fang Xiaonuan carefully kept Ji Wen’s hair in her pocket, then walked back to Liu Siyu and pushed her to the side of Ji Wen’s bed. She quickly swept away the hair on Liu Siyu’s shoulder.
“You guys chat here for a while. I’m going out for a while and will be back soon.” After Fang Xiaonuan finished speaking, she left with the two strands of hair from each of them.
In the ward, Liu Siyu turned around and shouted at the door, “Hey! Xiaonuan, you’re leaving us two disabled people here?”
Fang Xiaonuan could not care less. She quickly ran to the hospital’s forensic identification department, registered, and handed the hair to the nurse. She asked, “Can you compare the DNA between an aunt and nephew?”
“The test can determine a familial relationship,” the nurse replied.
“Alright, alright. Familial relationship is enough. Please hurry up.” Fang Xiaonuan’s heart was about to leap out of her throat. She had forgotten that there were still two disabled people in the ward. She had applied for an urgent appraisal fee, but it would still take three hours.
In the ward, Ji Wen looked at Liu Siyu and said, “Siyu, I want to go to the toilet.”
“What’s the use of telling me? Do you think I can support you?” Liu Siyu patted her leg and said, “I don’t even have a walking stick.”
Ji Wen said, “Don’t you have a wheelchair? Did I ask you to prop me up? you should help me get a nurse!”
Liu Siyu lowered her head and looked at the wheelchair, “But, how do I move this thing? It’s my first time, how could I know?”
Ji Wen helplessly looked at the ceiling. After a while, he really could not hold it in anymore. He could only strenuously reach for the call bell at the head of the bed. He finally succeeded after failing dozens of times.
The phone rang, and the nurse’s voice came from it. “Bed 25? What is it?”
“Can I trouble a nurse to help me?” Ji Wen asked.
Liu Siyu was still playing with her wheelchair. “What sort of wheelchair did Fang Xiaonuan rent for me? it doesn’t even know how to spin!”

Fang Xiaonuan had disappeared three times. This time, Liu Siyu finally understood how to use the wheelchair.
She managed to move around Ji Wen’s bed. “Xiaowen, this wheelchair is too convenient. I’ll get the nurse to get you one later. We’ll get one each.”
Ji Wen, “I can’t sit in a wheelchair.”
Liu Siyu said, “Oh, right, I forgot that you’re seriously injured. But why did your uncle beat you up so badly?”
Ji Wen said, “If I knew the reason, I would be able to rest in peace.”
Liu Siyu felt that Ji Wen was really pitiful, even more so than her.
Fang Xiaonuan had finally returned. She looked at Liu Siyu, then at Ji Wen. The two of them were chatting happily.

Only then did Fang Xiaonuan return to her senses and enter the ward. Then, the pair complained about how unreliable she had been earlier.
Liu Siyu had even bragged to Fang Xiaonuan that she had learned a new skill, wheelchair-riding.
