The receptionist had a look of disdain on her face. “Ma’am, do you have an appointment?”
Fang Xiaonuan shook her head. “No.”
“Then I’m sorry, ma’am. The company has a rule that you cannot see the CEO without an appointment.”
Fang Xiaonuan took out her phone and said, “Then I’ll make an appointment now.” She dialed Ji Lingchen’s number. After the call was connected, Ji Lingchen’s voice rang out. “Hello, what’s the matter?”
Fang Xiaonuan said, “Hubby, I’m at the lobby of your company right now. The front desk said that I need to make an appointment to see you. Let’s make an appointment now!”

“No, I want to see you now,” Fang Xiaonuan yelled at Ji Lingchen in the lobby. Then, she hung up the phone, turned around, and announced to the front desk, “I have an appointment with Ji Lingchen now. Send me up!”
The front desk was still in shock. “Ah, you… you are the CEO’s wife?” She looked too young!
Fang Xiaonuan nodded. “Indeed. Do you need me to call the housekeeper at home and ask her to send me a marriage certificate to prove my identity?”

The person who answered the call was Ji Lingchen’s secretary. She did not know that the CEO was married, so she said, “She should be a liar. Chase her away!”

The girl downstairs was still waiting.
