On the way back to the mansion by car, Shen Cheng received a call from Shi Yu.
She activated the speakerphone and placed the mobile phone beside her.
"Location." Shi Yu started off, revealing his domineering nature.
"Don’t really want to tell you." Intuition told Shen Cheng that this man’s intentions weren’t pure.
"Are you sure?" It wasn’t a question, but had a threatening undertone.
"Not really sure." Shen Cheng cleared her throat, "Mr. Shi, have you returned?"
"Don’t really want to tell you."
"Location!" He repeated once more.
Being able to make Shi Yu repeat himself within a short period was quite a feat.
Of course, perhaps only Shen Cheng could achieve this.
"You think I would tell you?" If he wanted to know her location, he should at least ask nicely!
"Not telling?" His voice was cold, devoid of any warmth.
"Hmm, good, wait there."
Hearing the sound of the phone hanging up, Shen Cheng felt annoyed.
This guy, utterly domineering.
Before she took this call, she was planning to go back to the mansion, but now, she changed her mind.
She turned the car around, searched for a bar on the navigation, and followed the instructions provided, quickly arriving outside the bar.
After parking the car, she walked into the bar.
The bartender checked her identity card, confirming she was of age before letting her in.
It wasn’t too late, so the bar wasn’t very crowded yet.
However, the dance floor was already echoing with deafening music.
On stage, several hotly-dressed beauties were dancing feverishly, twirling and swaying on the poles, assuming all kinds of provocative and alluring poses.
Tsk tsk, this is truly a paradise for men!
Shen Cheng sat beside the bar, sipping her drink while watching those hot-blooded men whistling below the stage.
Men really are creatures who think with the lower half of their bodies, desiring to swallow whole any prey that catches their eye.
She withdrew her gaze, leaned on the bar, and morosely drank her alcohol.
Seeing her good looks, a man approached to strike up a conversation: "Hi! Beautiful! Are you alone?"
The cliché pickup line managed to amuse Shen Cheng, she gestured meaningfully towards the space beside her, "Didn’t you see someone’s already sitting here? What? Planning to treat us to drinks?"
The man glanced at the space beside her, his hand holding the drink trembling, almost spilling it, "No, there’s no one..."
"No one?" Shen Cheng raised her eyebrows, pushed aside the space next to her, "Stop focusing on drinking! Say ’hi’ to this handsome guy quickly."
"Mama Mia..." With a cry of alarm, the man dropped his drink and ran off, apparently quite frightened.
"Haha!" Shen Cheng laughed so hard she had to hold onto the bar.
"Find it funny?" Someone asked near her ear.
"Yeah, haha!" Shen Cheng wasn’t easy to amuse, but for some reason, she just couldn’t help laughing.
"Not done laughing yet?" The magnetic voice spoke, tinged with a hint of displeasure.
"..." Shen Cheng finally stopped laughing.
Just how capable is this man!
Not even half an hour passed, and he found her here...
"Why aren’t you laughing now?" Shi Yu sat down next to her, resting his strong face on his hand, tilting his head, and looking at her expressionlessly.
She wasn’t hired to laugh!
Shen Cheng frowned, turned her head to look at him, "My laughing offends you?"
As she spoke, she raised her glass intending to drink, but Shi Yu suddenly reached out, unceremoniously snatching it away.
He sniffed the drink by his nose, then narrowed his cold eyes at her, "White liquor?"
