Shi Yu’s countenance turned ice-cold, and a dangerous aura began to emanate from him, causing even the air’s temperature to drop a few degrees.
Shen Cheng glanced at him, her smile becoming more radiant. Suddenly, she drew close, hooking her arms around his neck from behind and pressing her face against his back, "Alright, I’ll stop teasing you."
Shi Yu narrowed his icy eyes. Holding him , pressing her body against him, she still had the nerve to say she wasn’t teasing him.
Feeling that his anger hadn’t subsided, Shen Cheng rested her chin on his shoulder, extending her hand in front of him to change the subject: "Does this ring look nice on me?"
Her saying this was clearly a ploy to quell his anger, after all, she had been played by him when buying the ring as well.

He resembled a beautiful man who had stepped out from a painting, his face so clean it was flawless, with sculpted features perfect beyond measure.
Shen Cheng cautiously reached out to touch his face with her hand, but just as she laid her fingers on him, he caught her hand, and then came his deep voice: "A man’s face is not to be touched casually."
Shen Cheng sulked: "I’m not casual, nor have I touched other men randomly. I’m touching you, because you are my husband. What’s wrong with that?"
Shi Yu held her hand without letting go, "Who just said they weren’t teasing me, huh?"
Shen Cheng felt annoyed. When had she ever teased him?
"If you think that’s teasing, then from now on, we should keep our distance." She paused, continuing: "No holding hands, no kissing, no hugging, no sharing a bed, no intimacy."
She tried to pull her hand out of his grasp, but he wouldn’t let go, holding even tighter. He chuckled softly, his voice leisurely coming from his lips, "Do you think I would agree to that?"
"If you don’t agree, that means you’re the one teasing me," Shen Cheng humphed, "You want to hold my hand, want to kiss my lips, want to hug my waist, and even want to share a bed with me. You’re so bad."
Shi Yu’s face darkened, his gaze becoming sharp, "I’m bad?"
Had he ever said those things? She came up with all this by herself and had the audacity to blame him!
"Alright, I’m bad. I shouldn’t be this handsome, shouldn’t have such a great figure, shouldn’t have made you fall for me, I shouldn’t... Mmm!"
The rest of her words were cut off by his sudden kiss. Shi Yu turned his face, cupping her cheek with his hand, kissing her.
This woman, so noisy!
Her lips sealed by his, Shen Cheng quieted down, involuntarily raising her hand to circle his neck, slowly closing her eyes.
The night, grows deeper.
The two of them kissed from the pool to the lounge chair, then to the hall, upstairs, and finally, to the bed.
