After returning to the city from the sea, the sky was already pitch black.
Shi Yu parked the car by the roadside, got out, walked around the front of the car, and opened the door for Shen Cheng.
As he leaned in to unbuckle her seatbelt, he sneakily stole a kiss.
Shen Cheng was accustomed to his occasional teasing, she just glanced at him and then got straight out of the car.
Shi Yu smiled wantonly and grabbed her small hand as she passed by him.
As he took a step forward, he caught a glimpse of her shirt collar slightly open, revealing her slender, fair neck and delicate collarbones, which were so alluring they could provoke endless fantasies.
He couldn’t help frowning and reached out to fasten the topmost button for her.
"No exposing yourself."
"Why didn’t you mind when I was wearing a gown?" Shen Cheng raised her hand and unbuttoned the topmost button again, "It’s hot."
Shi Yu raised his eyebrows, and Shen Cheng looked at him defiantly. After a prolonged eye contact, it was ultimately he who compromised.
"When you don’t feel hot anymore, fasten it for me."
Shen Cheng couldn’t help laughing, "Husband, your possessiveness is too strong."
"Oh, you have a problem with that?"
Shen Cheng laughed even more, perhaps she had grown to assertive side of him.
Shi Yu looked down at her, "Hungry?"
"Hmm, let’s get something to eat."
Shi Yu made a call to Sun Yan to reserve a spot and then took Shen Cheng to a nearby restaurant.
In front of the elevator, he suddenly stopped, "You go up first, I have something to deal with."
No sooner had he spoken than the elevator doors opened.
Without asking much, Shen Cheng responded with a faint "Mhm" and stepped into the elevator.
Shi Yu’s lips lifted in a smile, just about to turn and leave when he heard Shen Cheng calling him, "Husband."
He paused in his steps and turned around, his eyebrows slightly knitted, "Hm?"
Shen Cheng took a small step forward, reached out to pull his tie, and stood on her tiptoes to kiss him.
The warm and moist sensation of her lips made Shi Yu instinctively bow his head to match her.
The two stood inside and outside the elevator until the alarm sounded, and then they parted.
Shi Yu, looking at Shen Cheng’s tempting red lips, spoke in a husky voice, "Little fairy."
Shen Cheng hooked a mischievous smile, pushed Shi Yu out with her hand, "Go on, I’m heading up first."
After speaking, she directly pressed the elevator’s close button.
Upon reaching the third-floor restaurant, she went straight to the reception and inquired, "Which room is reserved under Shi Yu?"
The receptionist looked up at her, a white shirt on top, jeans on the bottom, her hair somewhat messy, she was a hot beauty, although quite a stunner, her attire seemed too plain.
After just one glance, the receptionist’s face showed disdain, such unidentified people attempting to sneak in were an everyday occurrence, either to steal or to snag a rich partner, and she had seen plenty of them.
Inquiring about Shi Yu’s reservation? She didn’t weigh her own worth.
"Miss, we do not have a private room reserved under Mr. Shi, you might be mistaken. Maybe you mixed up another restaurant with ours? After all, the consumption here for an hour may be more expensive than all your attire combined."
As expected of someone who underwent strict training, even while uttering such humiliating words, the receptionist maintained a professional smile, leaving no room for criticism.
However, the contempt in her eyes was not at all concealed, blatantly radiating disdain.
Shen Cheng was not angered, simply smiling lightly, "Oh, is that so?"
Even though she was smiling, there was a cold indifference that made it impossible to feel any warmth.
