She glanced at him coolly, "Something the matter?"
Sun Yan collected his expression, glancing at the servant standing nearby.
Shen understood and commanded them to leave.
Seeing that they had all withdrawn, Sun Yan then approached her, his expression solemn as he relayed what he had just overheard.
After he finished, Shen Cheng only smiled lightly, "I’ve known for a long time that she can’t stay out of trouble. I’m curious to see what tricks she’s trying to play."
Sun Yan looked at her, "So does the Young Madam mean to play the long game and leave her be for now?"
Shen Cheng didn’t say much, just hummed in agreement, then lowered her head to continue reading.
