Without even thinking about it, Yan Jinyi reached out to push the door of the room.
The first thing she saw was a large, snowy white bed.
There was a young man who had a muscular body and chiseled features lying on the bed.
He was quite good-looking, but he seemed to be bearing with excruciating pain. He was shivering slightly and his lips turned pale while his forehead was covered in sweat.
"The layout of wealthy families is not as simple as you think. Those who are dignified enough have to be operated in secret. I believe you've already guessed that this is the camp of the Huo Family's private guards."
Yan Jinyi turned to look at Huo Chengyu and nodded.
"He is the captain of the escort team, Qin He. The bone of his arm is seriously misaligned and he doesn't want to receive an anesthetic."
"These days, it's rare to see one who would rather endure pain than receive an anesthesia. He's truly a man."
Qin He obviously did not expect Huo Chengyu to bring a woman there. With a defensive look on his tan face, he asked, "Young Master, who is she?"
"My sister-in-law."
'Sister-in-law?'
Slightly stunned, Qin He asked, "Is Third Young Master Huo married?"
"She's Xishen's wife."
Many people in the squad of guards knew about Huo Xishen's marriage, but they had never taken her seriously.
They simply thought that she was a dainty, delicate and pampered socialite like Huo Chengyu's wife.
Qin He obviously did not welcome Yan Jinyi much.
"Young Master, this is a place for men. Second Young Mistress Huo is too delicate and noble for this place. It's better for her to return."
Huo Chengyu pushed his glasses downwards and said alone on the sofa. "Sister-in-law came here to fix your bones."
'Fix my bones?'
Qin He looked at Yan Jinyi. He had to admit that she was indeed very pretty, but he didn't think that she could fix his bones.
"Young Master, are you joking?"
Huo Chengyu didn't answer and instead glanced at Yan Jinyi with some thoughts in mind.
"Simply put, you're looking down on me huh?"
Not expecting Yan Jinyi to blatantly ask such a straightforward question, both of them were stunned.
Qin He had grown up with the younger members of the Huo Family and hence, he was close to them. Besides, he had always looked down on Yan Jinyi so he didn't show her any respect.
"Second Young Mistress, you ought to stay at home and catch up on television dramas or go out to meet the wives of other rich men for shopping sprees. There's no need for you to come to such a place."
Yan Jinyi glanced at him with disgust and retorted, "If not for the fact that your trotter is worth 100,000 yuan, I wouldn't have gone to the hassle of coming all the way here."
'100,000 yuan?'
"Young Master, I trust your skill. I think you'd better do it for me. I didn't know that Second Young Mistress Huo really needs this 100,000 yuan."
