When Yan Jinyi woke up, she received a threatening text message from a stranger's number.
[You have three days left. If I don't see the news of you getting a divorce with Huo Xishen, just wait to collect the corpses of your entire family.]

Yan Jinyi wiggled her fingers and counted. Her grandmother Yang Guifang, who was obviously malicious, as well as her uncle and aunt were the only ones who could barely be considered her family members. She also had a few distant relatives whom she wasn't very familiar with.

While thinking about it, she removed her pajamas. Wearing only a sleeveless nightgown, she picked up her cell phone and quickly scurried into the guest room that Huo Xishen was staying in.

After pushing the door open, Yan Jinyi dashed towards the large bed and tucked herself underneath the sheets. She then reached her hand out to hold onto Huo Xishen's arm tightly. "Mr. Huo, I'm so scared, I received a death threat!"
Huo Xishen's body suddenly stiffened and the words "death threat" caught his attention.
"What death threat?"
His thick brows were furrowed into a frown and he glanced at her delicate little face.
Yan Jinyi pursed her lips and showed Huo Xishen the text that she had received. "Look, Mr. Huo, someone sent me a death threat because of you. Won't you feel really guilty if you don't give me some money to console me and compensate for the emotional trauma I've suffered?"
'Consolation fee?'
Huo Xishen looked up at her and said, "No."
'Damn it! You're still such a dog.'
"Do you know who sent it to you?" Huo Xishen suddenly asked.
Yan Jinyi told him about the previous incident and even specifically emphasized that Huo Zihang was the one who insisted on taking her along.
