"Mingtian, only your the view of your back will be captured in almost all your scenes. Don't be too nervous. Jinyi, take good care of him," Tao Wei instructed, holding onto the extremely crumpled and rolled up script.
Yan Jinyi made an 'OK' sign with her fingers and couldn't help but look at Huo Xishen again.
He was seated in the periphery of the set and some staff members were holding up a large umbrella to shield him from the sun.
This scene would involve some intimate physical contact because Zhang Mingtian would be confessing his love to Moon and asking her to wait for him in the city. He would also kiss her on the cheek.
They initially planned to let Zhang Mingtian really kiss Yan Jinyi on the cheek but since Huo Xishen's arrival, Tao Wei immediately changed his mind and decided to stage it instead.
"Okay, let's get started."
With a loud clap of the clapperboard, Yan Jinyi and Zhang Mingtian sat side by side on a boulder by the edge of the cliff.
The sky was full of stars and the bright, clear moon was shining onto the landscape below, shrouding the trees in moonlight.
"Moon, is the city very far away from here?" Zhang Mingtian asked as he carefully inched closer to her and even tilted his head slightly to the side to gaze at her side profile.
"It seems to be very far. Mingtian, I don't want to go to the city at all, it's much nicer here where I get to be with all of you."
