“I’m full too,” Chi Jingchen said as he put down his chopsticks, his little belly stretched taut.
Li Beijue elegantly wiped the corner of his mouth.
The attentive servant by their side immediately began clearing up the dining table and brought over some fruit and dessert for after the meal.
Chi Enen couldn’t eat another bite, and after Baby Chi had a small piece of watermelon, he looked up at her and said, “Woman, didn’t you say you’d watch ‘Boonie Bears’ with me? Let’s watch it in my room.”
It seemed she had agreed.
Chi Enen was just about to nod when she heard someone’s extremely displeased voice, “She won’t go.”
“Woman promised me, so she will go. Right, woman?” Baby Chi didn’t forget to rope in his ally.
Chi Enen stared at the ‘knife-eyes’ flung from across the table and, steeling herself, looked away pretending not to see, “Right, I’ll go.”
Baby Chi’s face lit up with joy, not forgetting to shoot a smug look at the man at the head of the table, then scurried down from the chair and went to pull Chi Enen’s hand, “Woman, I’m full, let’s go. Will you sleep with me tonight?”

“…” He glared fiercely at the composed little lady in front of him, so angry that he nearly wished he could strangle her dead!
A woman really shouldn’t be spoiled, now she was literally riding high, not even afraid when he was upset!
Chi Enen really wasn’t afraid; she had come to fully understand how much he cared about her, knowing he wouldn’t do anything to her even in anger, feeling emboldened, “Li Beijue, you’re making me uncomfortable holding me , let go first.”
“I’m uncomfortable too!” His tone was the pinnacle of displeasure! Paired with his oppressive grip on her wrist and his darkened handsome face, he roughly pulled her toward the bedroom.
Once inside the bedroom, he shut the door with one foot, not allowing Chi Enen to refuse, and carried her horizontally onto the bed, pulling her into his embrace, holding her tightly.
He hadn’t slept well for three days, and with the previous two days, all he wanted now was to hold her in his arms and get a good night’s sleep.
Strangely, he couldn’t sleep despite taking medication over the past few days. But the moment this woman was in his arms, a heavy drowsiness swiftly overtook him, more effective than the best sleeping pills, and he closed his eyes, his arm resting on the little lady’s waist, her soft body warming his embrace. He relaxed the tense lines in his forehead, indulging himself in falling asleep…
