“I want to eat it right now.”
Because Baby Chi was upset with his dad, he hadn’t eaten anything all evening. The only thing he had was a loaf of bread he wanted Chi Enen to see he had not touched; now, his little belly had truly slimmed down, rumbling loudly enough for all three to hear.
“Baby Chi, was that your stomach growling just now?” Chi Enen, not expecting him to be so hungry, asked in surprise.
“Grrrumble…” Another string of rumbling came from his belly.
