His tall and strong figure was wrapped in an apron, his profile refined and handsome, his short, fine hair hung over Mo Yunchen’s smooth forehead. As the food left the stove, his thin lips curved upward, exuding a breathtaking beauty—at least, that’s what Qin Qin thought at that moment.
She didn’t speak or move, just quietly watched his back, a surge of emotion welling up in her eyes.
A man of such high status, willing to cook for you, what more could one ask for?
Quietly approaching Mo Yunchen, she extended her slender arms around his narrow waist, pressing her cheek against his back with a contented sigh.
"Mo Yunchen, it’s so good to have you!"
Mo Yunchen stopped what he was doing, turning around to look at Qin Qin dressed in his clothes, the top exposing her delicate and pretty collarbone and the subtle hint of her chest, her long, beautiful legs exposed beneath,
"Are you tempting me?!" His husky voice rose, and Qin Qin rolled her eyes.
"Nonsense, can’t your brain think of anything else, Mo Yunchen?" There she was, speaking seriously, and he just had to ruin the mood.
"Seeing you, I can’t think of anything else."
He was telling the truth. When he saw her, his only thought was to pounce on her, pounce on her.
Pushing Mo Yunchen away, Qin Qin glared at him playfully, "I’m hungry."
Hearing she was hungry, Mo Yunchen affectionately pinched Qin Qin’s cheek, "Let’s eat."
Hooking his arm, Qin Qin looked at the delicious-looking dishes in front of her and turned her head to Mo Yunchen, "You made this? You can actually cook?"
"No? Mo Yunchen, are you lying to me?"
Qin Qin didn’t believe it. How could someone who didn’t know how to cook make dishes that looked so appetizing?
Mo Yunchen pointed to the opened cookbook on the shelf, and Qin Qin glanced at it, "You cooked this just by looking at a cookbook?"
What else could she say? Even if she looked at ten cookbooks, she couldn’t make such dishes. Could it be she was naturally at odds with the kitchen? But she was smart too, wasn’t she?
She just couldn’t believe how good his cooking might be.
Qin Qin couldn’t wait to use chopsticks. She picked up a piece of what looked like deliciously crispy fried pork rib and put it in her mouth, only to feel a scorching sensation before she could even taste it.
"It’s so hot!" Qin Qin spat the rib out of her mouth, looking at Mo Yunchen with a wounded expression.
Mo Yunchen couldn’t react in time to stop Qin Qin. By the time he realized what was happening, she had already put the rib in her mouth and burnt her tongue.
Mo Yunchen’s face darkened, "Qin Qin."
His tone was cold, but Qin Qin heard the concern in his words.
"Open your mouth, let me see."
With an aggrieved look, Qin Qin opened her mouth and stuck out her tongue.
Mo Yunchen carefully examined her tongue and, seeing no redness or swelling, heaved a sigh of relief. Her pitiful and tempting appearance deepened the emotion in Mo Yunchen’s eyes.
Two minutes later, Qin Qin pushed Mo Yunchen away, accusing him, "Mo Yunchen, I’m in pain, and you’re still taking liberties."
"I’m sorry." Mo Yunchen kissed Qin Qin’s forehead and apologized in a low voice. He was impulsive. Seeing her, the usually self-controlled him lost it.
Qin Qin lifted her head, "Hmph, I forgive you."
"I’m really hungry, really hungry." Qin Qin looked at the nicely served ribs on the plate. Although she hadn’t been able to taste them carefully just now, the delicious flavor still lingered in her mouth.
Mo Yunchen picked up the ribs with his chopsticks, blew on them a few times, and then offered them to Qin Qin’s lips.
Qin Qin’s lips curled up, and she bit into the rib, filling her small mouth with it. At that moment, Qin Qin resembled a lazy, satisfied cat, and her contented expression so adorable that Mo Yunchen nearly pounced on her again.
"Let’s go out and sit down to eat." Mo Yunchen took off his apron and tenderly suggested to Qin Qin.
Qin Qin picked up the plate of ribs, teasingly glanced at Mo Yunchen, "Mo Yunchen, do you realize you’re like a househusband now?"
Mo Yunchen glanced at Qin Qin and turned around to prepare to lift the other dishes.
Qin Qin chuckled, "Mo Yunchen, turn back around."
Mo Yunchen turned his head and stared at Qin Qin, who quickly tiptoed to kiss him on the cheek, "That’s your reward, my househusband."
After kissing Mo Yunchen, Qin Qin carried the ribs toward the nearby dining area, with Mo Yunchen’s gaze full of warmth watching her retreating figure, his eyes so tender they could melt ice.
After the meal, Qin Qin sighed contentedly, "Mo Yunchen, you’re amazing. How can the first dish you cook be so delicious?"
Thinking of herself as a kitchen klutz compared to Mo Yunchen made her feel utterly embarrassed.
Leaning forward, Qin Qin asked, "Mo Yunchen, will you always make food for me?"
