"Finished with your call?"
"Yeah!" She had made up an excuse to go out and make the call, so Qin An and Lee Fong thought that was what she had done.
The door to the private room was opened and as Qin Qin, Qin An, and the third person turned their heads to look, they saw Mo Yunchen’s tall and slender figure entering. Qin Qin’s hand holding the chopsticks stiffened – why had he suddenly come here? Wasn’t he chatting with those people?
Seeing Mo Yunchen, Qin Qin quickly stood up and addressed Qin An and Lee Fong, "Dad, Aunt Lee, this is Mo Yunchen, who visited our home last time, a friend of mine."
Mo Yunchen glanced at Qin Qin, his eyes dark and obscure, seemingly displeased.
Qin Qin glared at Mo Yunchen, signaling him not to speak.
"Oh, have a seat!" Qin An certainly remembered; how could he forget a man whose presence was so imposing?
Mo Yunchen pulled over a stool next to Qin Qin and sat down, "Uncle, Auntie! Please, sit!"
Feeling somewhat constrained, Qin An and Lee Fong had stood up just like Qin Qin when Mo Yunchen arrived and only sat back down after Mo Yunchen spoke.
Qin Qin glared at Mo Yunchen, not understanding why he had come over. Was he intentionally trying to frighten her family?
Mo Yunchen took a glance at the dishes on the table, and Qin An hurriedly spoke up, "Qinqin, we’ve already tried these dishes, shall we get them replaced?"
Qin An felt somewhat reluctant to part with the food; there was still so much left untouched, but given that they had a guest, they couldn’t possibly let him eat leftovers, could they?
"No need, it’s fine as it is!" Mo Yunchen picked up his chopsticks and started to eat.
Qin Qin was beside herself with frustration – what about your obsession with cleanliness?
After they had eaten, Qin Qin accompanied Qin An and Lee Fong out of Top-Grade Heavenly Fragrance. She thought that after dinner, Mo Yunchen would leave, but to her surprise, he shamelessly followed along.
"What are you doing?" Qin Qin asked Mo Yunchen in a low voice, taking advantage of the fact that Qin An and Lee Fong weren’t paying attention.
"Keeping you company!"
"Why keep me company? Don’t you have work?"
"You’re the most important!"
Mo Yunchen leaned in close to Qin Qin’s cheek and kissed her, startling her enough to push him away and quickly glance at Qin An and Lee Fong up ahead. Fortunately, they were both so taken in by the bustling sights of Jingdu City that they hadn’t noticed the exchange between Qin Qin and Mo Yunchen.
"I’m not feeling well!" a low and sensual voice spoke up.
Qin Qin turned to Mo Yunchen, urgency in her eyes, "What’s wrong? Let me see?"
"My heart feels unwell!"
Qin Qin nearly kick Mo Yunchen right there on the busy street, gritting her teeth as she said, "Mo Yunchen."
"How long do you want me to not have proper recognition, not be able to speak officially?"
Who could have thought that Master Mo, with his great reputation, had yet to be acknowledged? Even in front of his prospective father-in-law, he could only be a friend. Who else would feel as stifled as he did?
"Mo Yunchen, if my dad knew I was with you now, wouldn’t he be scared to death?"
Given Qin An’s character, if he knew she had a boyfriend, he would definitely be unable to eat or sleep, worried sick about her, afraid she would be deceived.
"Let’s wait another two years!"
"Two years?!" He was supposed to wait another two years for recognition?
"Yeah, if there’s nothing else, you should leave. I still need to go shopping with my dad."
Qin Qin pushed the dissatisfied Mo Yunchen away from her, ignoring the accusation in his eyes as she said it.
Mo Sheng sighed for their President Mo, who was standing not too far away. To think it would be another two years before he could properly meet his in-laws. How pitiable!
Qin Qin ran ahead, leaving Mo Yunchen behind, whose face darkened. The many girls around who were watching him were scared off by his chilly aura.
"Master Mo, shall we go back to the company?"
Mo Sheng stepped forward and asked quietly, and Mo Yunchen shot him a look, "You go back on your own."
Having said that, he strode towards where Qin Qin was headed.
Mo Sheng touched his nose behind him, thinking that President Mo looked like he wanted to brush up on his presence in front of his future father-in-law!
Qin Qin hadn’t expected Mo Yunchen to follow her and asked, "Aren’t you going to work?"
"No need, your father is here. Let’s accompany him together." Mo Yunchen’s lips curved into a smile, stealthily taking Qin Qin’s hand as if he were a thief.
Qin An and Lee Fong were walking ahead when they suddenly turned back. Qin Qin quickly withdrew her hand, "Dad!"
Qin An smiled at Qin Qin, "Is your friend all right?"
"Oh, him... he’s got nothing much today; said he’d walk with us."
As if there wasn’t anything – Mo Corporation was the busiest of all! But luckily, Mo Yunchen had capable people working for him.
"Oh! I was afraid of disturbing him; it’s good if he’s free. Don’t leave him hanging – your Aunt Lee and I will just do some looking around." Qin An walked ahead as he spoke.
Qin Qin shook her head with a chuckle. Mo Yunchen walked up beside her and took her hand again, refusing to let go.
Letting him hold her hand, Qin Qin whispered, "My dad said I should keep you company more, worried I’d leave you out."
