"I’m fine," Qin Qin put down the carrier and squatted down to help Lee Ximeng pick up the documents.
"No need, no need, I can do it myself. Are you the meal delivery person? Hurry up and go, otherwise you’ll be late and others will scold you."
Seeing Qin Qin holding the food carrier, Lee Ximeng thought she was a meal delivery waitress.
Qin Qin slightly raised her eyebrows. Did she look like she was here to deliver lunch?
Qin Qin smiled, though she didn’t offer any explanation.
"Lee Ximeng, what’s wrong?" A woman ran over and squatted down to help Lee Ximeng pick up the documents from the ground.
"I’m fine, I just didn’t notice and bumped into this meal delivery miss," Lee Ximeng said apologetically with a smile towards Qin Qin.
The woman who came over gave Qin Qin a glance, her face turning white with shock, "Ma... Madam."
She was a long-time employee of Mo Corporation and had seen Qin Qin before, but Lee Ximeng had just joined Mo’s as an intern, so she didn’t recognize Qin Qin.
"What madam?" Lee Ximeng looked at her friend Mo Xiaomi, who had always been caring towards her at Mo’s, puzzled.
Mo Xiaomi, trembling, grabbed Lee Ximeng and pulled her up, urging her to be more serious, "Apologize to the madam this instant. How could you bump into her? Madam, I’m sorry, my friend didn’t mean it."

Lee Ximeng’s face turned pale with fright, "Madam, I’m sorry, I didn’t do it on purpose."
"It’s okay, just be more careful next time."
As Qin Qin held the carrier, Mo Xiaomi hurriedly said, "Madam, let me carry the food carriernfor you. It must be quite heavy, right?"
The madam was truly kind. Even after being bumped, she was still in such a good mood, not like other corporate madams, who would disdain you as dirty just for touching them. Her previous company was like that, the madam acted as though her eyes were above her head, ordering employees around, truly detestable.
"No need, thank you," Qin Qin politely declined.
Mo Xiaomi, with lingering fear, pulled Lee Ximeng aside to wait for Qin Qin to leave.
Just as Qin Qin took a step, she stopped and glanced at Lee Ximeng, whose eyes were slightly red, "Have you suffered any grievances at Mo’s?"
Qin Qin hadn’t used her ’ghost eyes’ on Lee Ximeng, but seeing her dispirited and dejected, she suspected there might be a serious issue. If she could help, she would, as it was a way of accumulating blessings for herself, Mo Yunchen, and their family as well.
"No... no grievances?" Upon hearing Qin Qin’s gentle inquiry, Lee Ximeng’s tears fell, and she stubbornly shook her head.
"If there are any grievances or any issues, you can talk about them. Mo’s has always been quite magnanimous."
After finishing speaking, Qin Qin walked forward, and behind her, Mo Xiaomi was tugging at Lee Ximeng’s clothes. Xiaomi knew Lee Ximeng’s family situation well: her mother was critically ill and hospitalized; her father was disabled and couldn’t look after himself, let alone Lee Ximeng’s mother; all their savings had gone towards Lee Ximeng’s education, and though Lee Ximeng had done well enough to attend a good university and then join Mo Corporation, they had hoped for better. Unfortunately, her mother had recently been hospitalized with a serious condition, incurring a lot of debt. Lee Ximeng worked during the day and had to stand vigil at the hospital at night. Her mother’s surgery was in a few days, and she couldn’t afford to take leave. The thought brought her to the brink of tears, and it left her without the energy to avoid mistakes at work.
"Madam!" Mo Xiaomi, seeing Lee Ximeng hesitated to speak up, called out to Qin Qin, who was about to enter the president’s elevator.
Qin Qin turned around and looked at Mo Xiaomi and Lee Ximeng, a smile in her eyes, but she said nothing.

"I’m sorry, madam. Please, help me," Lee Ximeng cried, holding back her tears for fear of being ridiculed, and looked pleadingly at Qin Qin.
"I will relay the message to Mo Yunchen. You go back and take good care of your sick mother. As for this month’s perfect attendance, it won’t be deducted from you. Go to the finance department and collect ten thousand yuan. Consider it a little token from President Mo and me. If you’re still having difficulties, tell Mo Sheng and the others; they will help you solve them."
