"This tie looks old, why don’t you throw it away?"
Compared to the brand-new shirt and suit, this tie truly didn’t match.
"It’s great!" He put down his teacup and said in a deep voice, "This was the first gift she gave me; how could I possibly throw it away? Even if it gets damaged, I’d still keep it."
Qin Qin felt a warmth in her heart and glanced at the tie without saying anything further.
A secretary knocked on the door and came in, "President Mo, the meeting is about to begin."
The secretary glanced at Qin Qin, who was sitting very close to Mo Yunchen, and nodded respectfully to her.
"You have a meeting? Then I’ll go!" She planned to go shopping, "I’m going to shop around, you go to your meeting."
His long arms hugged her tightly. His left hand cradled the back of her head, conveying his longing for the day, until the secretary urged once more before he let go.
Qin Qin straightened Mo Yunchen’s tie, letting him go to his meeting. Under the tight lock of Mo Yunchen’s phoenix eyes, she helplessly kissed his cheek before giving up.
With satisfaction, Mo Yunchen walked out of the office, and Qin Qin wore a smile, thinking that sometimes Mo Yunchen really acted like a child.
After leaving the office, Qin Qin called Gan Tiantian, who also had no classes that day, to stroll in the nearby mall.
"Wow, Miss Qin, the fiancée of Master Mo, actually has time to go shopping with me today. I wonder how Master Mo could bear to let you out?"
As soon as they met, Gan Tiantian teased Qin Qin and even asked her to show the engagement ring from the proposal last night.
"This ring looks familiar, doesn’t it?"
Holding the ring in Qin Qin’s hand, Gan Tiantian recalled where she had seen something similar.
"Right, the necklace from our last graduation gathering? So that necklace was given to you by Master Mo?"
Keeping it a secret from her, huh, outrageous!
The two entered the mall, and Gan Tiantian linked arms with Qin Qin, "What do you want to buy?"
"Just looking around." Qin Qin strolled on the first floor, where there were many boutique shops, and she paused, glancing at a scarf store.
"How did you know I wanted to buy a scarf? Let’s go in and have a look."
Pulling Qin Qin into the scarf store, Gan Tiantian happily started picking out various options.
Qin Qin glanced at the men’s scarves hanging around, but her attention was suddenly drawn to the wool displayed in a glass cabinet.
"Miss, would you like to buy some wool and knit it yourself? You can take a look. Would you like to buy wool for women or for men?" The shop assistant said with a smile to Qin Qin.
"There are tutorials for that. Knitting a hand towel is the simplest project; you can finish it in one evening."
Qin Qin became interested, thinking that knitting a scarf herself seemed like a nice idea, especially with the weather just right for wearing a scarf.
"You want to knit a scarf?" Gan Tiantian came over with a pink scarf in hand, looking at Qin Qin.
"Yes! What do you think?" Qin Qin turned her head to look at Gan Tiantian, who was interested.
"Seems nice." Gan Tiantian tossed the scarf she was holding to the shop assistant and then pointed at a few skeins of wool, "I’ll take this, and this."
"Qin Qin, what about you?"
Qin Qin pointed to some wool for men’s scarves.
Gan Tiantian laughed with mischief in her voice, "Oh, so it’s for Master Mo, huh? Our Qin Qin is going to be a good wife and mother."
Qin Qin gave Gan Tiantian a white look, and after they made their selections, they paid and walked out.
Gan Tiantian walked out happily and turned back at the corner to look at Qin Qin, "If Master Mo knew you were going to knit him a scarf, he would be so happy."
Qin Qin smiled silently, her hand in her pocket tightening slightly. She would have to try it when she got back and see if she could knit; the shop assistant did say it was quite easy.
Gan Tiantian looked at Qin Qin happily, ready to tease her, when suddenly she heard a shout and the sound of shattering jade.
"Ah, my bracelet." A cry from a middle-aged woman came over, and before Gan Tiantian could react, the woman had grabbed her arm and pointed to the ground, "You pay for it, you pay for my jade bracelet. You actually broke it."
Gan Tiantian felt uncomfortable from the shaking by the middle-aged woman.
"Let go, release me." Gan Tiantian frowned in discomfort.
"Let you go? What if you run away? This bracelet was just given to me by my daughter, it’s from my future son-in-law, and it cost over a hundred thousand. And you just broke it like that; you pay for it, pay for it right now." Middle-aged woman Lee Yaqin yelled again, furious at the thought of her bracelet worth over a hundred thousand shattered.
"Madam, let’s talk this out nicely, please let go of my friend first." Qin Qin said indifferently, looking at Lee Yaqin, asking her to release Gan Tiantian.
