She put down her hand, holding the cookies as she stood in the corridor outside the study, listening to the voices coming from inside.
It was Mo Sheng and Mo Tang trying to persuade Mo Yunchen, while Mo Yunchen, with a stern voice, stopped them, forbidding them to say a word.
Qin Qin’s hand gripping the tray tightened, and she put on a smile, ensuring no one could see anything amiss before she knocked on the study door.
Entering the study, she pretended not to notice the expressions on Mo Sheng and Mo Tang’s faces as she placed the tray in front of Mo Yunchen, "You all must be hungry too, I’ve made some cookies, have some."
"No need, Madam, there’s business at the company, we’ll be leaving first, please enjoy, Madam and Master Mo."
Mo Sheng and Mo Tang nodded respectfully to Qin Qin and Mo Yunchen and walked out of the room.
After the two left, Qin Qin turned around with a smile and looked at Mo Yunchen, "Why don’t you come sit on the sofa and give them a try, see if my skills have improved?"
Mo Yunchen’s thin lips curved slightly, "Hmm!"
He forced himself to get up, not letting her see his weakness, but he didn’t know that behind him, Qin Qin had a look of sorrow; she could clearly see the veins on his hand as he gripped the edge of the table, he was forcing himself, how could she not know?
Only three more days, she could wait no longer! She had promised him, yet...sorry, she would have to break her promise again.
Sitting beside Mo Yunchen, she fed him a cookie, "Does it taste good?"
"Hmm!" Even if what she made wasn’t delicious, he would say it was, because in his heart even her worst was the best.
Qin Qin’s smile lingered at the corners of her lips, her stunningly beautiful face radiant and enchanting.

Mo Yunchen embraced Qin Qin, taking the initiative to kiss her.

Mo Yunchen lowered his head to glance at Qin Qin; she seemed a bit out of sorts today, first with her initiating the kiss, then suddenly proclaiming her love for him.

Qin Qin lifted her beautiful lips into a contented smile, leaning into his embrace, silently vowing that she absolutely could not let anything happen to him, absolutely not!
In the afternoon, Qin Qin saw Mo Yunchen off, as he had been going out these past two days; she knew he was visiting the doctor who secretly treated him.
After Mo Yunchen left, Qin Qin went to the children’s room, spent a good while with the two children, and then left the villa.
Getting into the car, she dialed the phone number she had almost blacklisted.
Qi Tianshang picked up quickly, the corners of his mouth curved in a slight smile, his voice low and crisp, "Have you decided?"
"Where is your address?"
Qi Tianshang chuckled, giving out the address.
Qin Qin threw the phone aside, her face grim as she drove toward the location mentioned by Qi Tianshang.
Qi Tianshang’s villa was hidden on the secluded mid-slope of a mountain. After a thorough security check, Qin Qin was finally allowed entry.
Stepping out of the car, a woman of about thirty years old with an average appearance approached indifferently, "Miss Qin, right? Please follow me."
Qin Qin looked at the woman and said calmly, "My husband’s surname is Mo, you can call me Madam Mo!"
The woman glanced at Qin Qin and seemed to raise a corner of her mouth in a mocking smile, "Miss Qin, this way, please."
Qin Qin didn’t speak again and followed the woman inside.
This villa hidden in the mountain slopes wasn’t particularly large but was very securely guarded, with surveillance everywhere, making escape very difficult and entry just as hard.
The woman led Qin Qin into the villa’s grand hall and then left. The hall was vast and lavishly decorated but completely devoid of any sign of life, leaving only Qin Qin alone in the space.
Qin Qin stood calmly in the hall, and out of nowhere, an elderly man with a hunched back, around sixty years old, appeared, placing a cup of tea on the side table next to her, then leaving slowly without saying a word.
Qin Qin stood still, not moving, with no intention to drink the tea.
"What’s the matter? Don’t like tea?"
A light, deep chuckle sounded in her ear. Taken aback, Qin Qin didn’t realize when a tall and straight man had appeared behind her. His long figure lazily enveloped her; Qin Qin stepped back, avoiding the man and watched him warily. When had this man appeared behind her, and she hadn’t noticed?
But she saw that he wore a mask that covered most of his face, making it impossible to discern the man’s features.
"What, did you suddenly fall for me?"
