Jing Zhimei looked at Qin Qin in horror, but Qin Qin ignored her, allowing her to sit in the passenger seat.
Jing Zhimei’s jaw had been dislocated, her arms and legs disabled, leaving her slumped in the passenger seat, tiny pustules sprouting all over her body, itching and aching. Unable to use her hands, her face turned a deep red, beset by unbearable pain. She glared at Qin Qin with fierce eyes, wanting to curse out loud, but she could not speak.
The discomfort and pain tortured Jing Zhimei.
"Don’t worry, you won’t die. This poison will just make you feel uncomfortable and itchy and ache all over, causing you pain and itch dozens of times each day! The pustules will grow, burst, and then grow back! There’s no cure, and its effects are no less than that of Soul Devouring!"
After saying this, Qin Qin turned her head and paid no further attention to Jing Zhimei on the seat. She took out a Silver Needle and jabbed herself several times fiercely in the wrist, the only method she could think of to try to stop the poison from reaching her heart and lungs, in the hope she could hold on until she reached Mo Yunchen to save him.
Even if it meant death, she was determined to save him!
The poison on her hands was slowly eroding her. Afraid she might not hold up until she got back, she could only speed up. Dark blood oozed slowly from her wrist. She paid no mind to it, eyes fixed forward, gripping the steering wheel tightly, quickly driving toward Jingdu City.
Upon entering Jingdu City, only two hours remained. It was the rush hour, notorious for traffic jams. Qin Qin’s complexion was terrible, with the corners of her mouth turning black from the poison. There was already a good amount of dark blood under the driver’s seat.
Jing Zhimei felt a wave of discomfort pass over her, laughing silently at the scene before her. Right after she finished laughing, another wave of discomfort surged, itching and painful, almost driving her mad.
By the time the traffic jam had cleared, more than ten minutes had passed, and then the red light came on again. Qin Qin gripped the steering wheel and stepped on the gas, the car speeding away like the wind.
"Damn, who’s that bold, daring to run a red light in Jingdu City?"
Whistles and jeers rang out on the boulevard, as people watched the BMW speed away.
Qin Qin returned to the villa with only an hour left for Mo Yunchen’s life.
Mo Sheng had been waiting outside the villa for Qin Qin. Seeing her BMW return, he approached her in surprise, "Madam, did you get the Antidote?"
Qin Qin got out of the car, and only then did Mo Sheng notice that she was wearing a white wedding dress, covered by a thick coat, which she had put on herself when she got out of the car, fearing that the wounds on her wrist would be seen.
"I got it, let’s hurry back!"
Qin Qin stopped, glanced at Jing Zhimei in the passenger seat, and Mo Sheng followed her gaze, his pupils shrinking, "Madam, is that Jing Zhimei?"
"Yes, I ran into her on the way back, captured her. Don’t let her die."
Qin Qin covered her left hand, feeling a burning pain from her wrist where the poison had begun to spread. Her body started to feel cold, and even she had to admire Jing Zhimei’s skill. Her medical skills might be lacking, but her Poison Arts were formidable, accurately predicting that Qin Qin would be willing to give up her own life to save Mo Yunchen.
Mo Sheng waved his hand, signaling the Members of Mo Clan to take Jing Zhimei away. Jing Zhimei, lifted by others, glared fiercely at Qin Qin, her dislocated jaw attempting an ominous smile.
She made an ’ah ah’ sound, wanting to speak, to mock Qin Qin, to say that Qin Qin’s life was nearing its end, but she was led away before she could utter a word.
Qin Qin released her hand and ran towards their room.
Mo Tang heard footsteps and turned around in surprise. Seeing Qin Qin holding a black box, he said, "Madam, did you bring back the Antidote?"
Qin Qin nodded and, without waiting to speak further, ran quickly to Mo Yunchen’s bed. Looking at his closed eyes and pale face, she took out half of the Antidote from the black box and stuffed it into Mo Yunchen’s mouth, watching quietly.
Feeling the cold intensify, she couldn’t help but wrap her arms around herself, trembling slightly.
"Madam, are you all right?"
Mo Sheng and Mo Tang took a step forward from behind, asking with concern.
Without turning around, Qin Qin raised her right hand, covering her mouth with her left, "I’m fine, don’t come closer. Prepare some hot water and food, Master Mo should be waking up soon."
Mo Sheng and Mo Tang nodded and left without further suspicion.
When the two men left, Qin Qin could no longer hold back and spat a mouthful of dark blood to one side. Her wrist, covered by the down coat, was soaked with the black blood.
Hearing movement, Qin Qin wiped the black blood from her mouth, smiling gently as she leaned over, grabbing Mo Yunchen’s hand resting on the bed, "Mo Yunchen."
Mo Yunchen’s tightly closed eyes slowly opened, gripping Qin Qin’s hand, "Qinqin!"
