A man in his twenties approached; he was one of Qi Tianshang’s trusted aides, much like Han Ye. However, while Han Ye stayed by Qi Tianshang’s side, this man was in charge of Qi Tianshang’s properties, training Qi Tianshang’s men. They called him Han Xing.
"Honorable Master!" Han Xing glanced at the sea beneath the cliff and said solemnly, "Honorable Master, with such turbulent waters, our chances of finding Miss Qin are extremely slim."
Qi Tianshang’s hands tightened on the railing, "No matter how slim the chances, I must find her."
Han Ye didn’t dare say more, simply instructing his men to don their diving suits and carefully descend at the side of the railing.
Dozens of Qi Tianshang’s men were dispatched, and Qi Tianshang watched quietly, from morning until around one or two in the afternoon.
"Lord Han Xing, there’s no sign of Miss Qin at all."
A subordinate, exhausted from emerging from the water, spoke. In the cold, freezing December weather, they couldn’t hold out for long. They had been searching from morning until afternoon, shifting teams over and over. Where was Miss Qin’s figure to be found? Even if she had been there, Miss Qin’s body might have been washed away or devoured by fish by now.
"Lord Han Xing, please persuade the Honorable Master. We can’t take much more of this."
His entire body was shivering, unable to withstand the chill of the sea breeze.
Han Xing looked at Qi Tianshang, who had stood silently from morning until afternoon, staring at the sea, and shook his head. "You have all worked hard. Tell the brothers to come up and send another group down. First, put on some warm clothes and drink some hot water."
Without the Honorable Master speaking, none dared move.
Only when every one of the dozens of men brought along was utterly exhausted and came ashore did Han Xing approach Qi Tianshang, "Honorable Master, the wind is strong here, and you won’t be able to withstand it if you stay . Please wait in the car."
Seeing that Qi Tianshang made no move, Han Xing spoke again.
"Honorable Master, we can’t find Miss Qin. All of our men have searched thoroughly, and they have no energy left."
Qi Tianshang turned back and looked coldly at Han Xing, "Send more people to search, we must find her."
He couldn’t believe it; he was certain he would find her.
Han Xing hesitated where he stood, "Honorable Master, it’s possible that Miss Qin’s body..."
Qi Tianshang shouted sharply, leaving Han Xing with no choice but to turn around and make calls for more people.
On the highway of Jin City, Mo Yunchen’s expression was indifferent, his presence radiating a ’keep-out’ aura.
Mo Tang sat in the passenger seat, receiving a call, "What’s the matter?"
After hanging up, Mo Tang turned to face Mo Yunchen and whispered, "Master Mo, Qi Tianshang hasn’t returned to Jin City at all. Should we still go there?"
Mo Yunchen’s narrow, phoenix eyes turned towards Mo Tang; they were devoid of any spark or life. Since Qin Qin’s death, there had been no light in the depths of Mo Yunchen’s eyes, lifeless and never again stirring a ripple, except for today when Qi Tianshang’s provocation and the lady’s body being taken away angered Master Mo. At all other times, his eyes were cold, devoid of any brightness.
"Have someone destroy all of Qi Tianshang’s holdings!"
Mo Tang nodded, making calls to their subordinates in Jin City. Could it be that Master Mo intended to destroy Qi Tianshang’s empire, to force him to show himself?
Just after giving orders to his men, Mo Tang’s phone rang again. After answering, his expression changed drastically.
"Master Mo, we’ve located Qi Tianshang and his men!"
"But... almost all of Qi Tianshang’s men have been sent to a cliff not far from Kun City... It seems they are trying to retrieve the lady."
Hearing this report from his subordinate, he felt a dreadful premonition.
"What did you say?" The previously calm voice instantly became chilling and filled with menace.
"The lady seems to have been..."
Before Mo Tang could finish, Mo Yunchen’s face turned dark and foreboding, "We’re going to Kun City."
Around four in the afternoon, as the sky began to darken and the sea wind howled, Qi Tianshang stood like a statue at the cliff edge, his expression icy.
After nearly five or six hours of recovery efforts, and without any trace to be found, Qi Tianshang’s hundreds of men were all utterly exhausted, some even trembling.
Han Xing couldn’t help but step forward again, "Honorable Master, we have been dredging for several hours, and there’s still no trace of Miss Qin."
Qi Tianshang turned back with a frosty stare at Han Xing, "Continue the search!"
"But... all the nearby men have already been dispatched, and the rest are still in Jin City."
"Mo Yunchen’s men have been sabotaging our properties everywhere. We should go back!"
They had just received word that Mo Yunchen’s forces had destroyed many of their properties, including bars, KTVs, high-end clubs, and restaurants. If the Honorable Master continued , they feared that it wouldn’t be long before all of their Jin City holdings would be completely ruined.
