Mo Yuchu was brought to the van, her eyes filled with confusion as she looked at the man holding her hand, "Uncle, weren’t you taking Chuer to find Mommy? Why are we here?"
Mo Yuyan’s small hands clenched tightly as he sensed something was wrong. He tried to grab his little sister’s hand, but it was already too late.
The second and third goons covered Mo Yuchu and Mo Yuyan’s mouths and carried them into the vehicle.
Mo Yuchu’s face showed sheer terror. She wanted to scream, but the second goon knocked her out with a sleeping drug; Mo Yuyan suffered the same fate as soon as he was in the car.
By the time Su Qing arrived at the van, she saw three men forcefully taking two children into the vehicle. It seemed no one around had noticed this brief encounter. As the van was about to drive away, Su Qing hurriedly ran towards it.
The moment before the van door was about to close, Su Qing grabbed onto the door with her right hand. The man closing the door’s expression changed as he looked at Su Qing holding the door.
"What are you doing?"
All the people in the car looked at Su Qing warily. Did this woman know something?
Su Qing instantly saw Mo Yuchu and Mo Yuyan unconscious in the back seat, her heart tightened.
"It’s none of your business. Mind your own!" The second goon’s face darkened as he tried forcefully to close the door, not believing that this woman would dare to challenge them.
Su Qing glared at the four men with icy expressions, "Where are you taking my children?"
The four men looked at each other. This woman was the mother of the two children. It seemed they couldn’t let her go now!
The second goon pulled out a small knife and placed it against the unconscious Mo Yuchu’s neck, "Get in, and don’t make a sound."
Not wanting to attract the attention of the people around, the second goon lowered his voice and stared menacingly at Su Qing.
Su Qing’s heart ached as she looked at the knife against Mo Yuchu’s neck, and a fleeting shadow crossed her eyes. She obediently stepped forward.
"Number Three, knock her out and tie her up," the second goon said to his companion. Number Three nodded and approached Su Qing with a handkerchief soaked in the sleeping drug. Su Qing’s face darkened, she tensed her hand at her side, and let Number Three place the handkerchief over her mouth. She then "’fainted’" away.
Watching Su Qing collapse to the side, the four men breathed a sigh of relief and quickly drove away before attracting any more attention.
In the van, the fourth goon tied up Su Qing’s hands tightly before looking at the boss, "Boss, what do we do now?"
"Once we reach our destination, we’ll wake these two brats up and get them to tell us who their father really is," the boss said coldly.
The rest of the men nodded, smiling.
After the van had left the area, five bodyguards and two pale, flustered maids ran out from the amusement park.
One bodyguard looked around and then said to the others, "You all keep looking here. I’ll call for backup and phone the two masters."
Mo Tang and Mo Yunchen had left Jingdu City for Shen City in the morning to visit one of Mo Cang’s old friends and attend a banquet on his behalf.
At the banquet, Mo Tang received a call from a bodyguard. His expression changed drastically, and he quickly approached Mo Yunchen, who was talking to an elderly man with white, silvery hair.
Mo Yunchen’s tall and striking presence at the banquet drew attention. Many young women gazed his way, watching him, as dignified and handsome as the Heavenly God himself, each feature exuding nobility, captivating and impossible to look away from.
Mo Tang approached Mo Yunchen and whispered into his ear, "Master Mo, the young miss and young master are missing."
Mo Yunchen looked gravely at Mo Tang. Mo Tang, sweating coldly, didn’t dare lock eyes with Mo Yunchen, thinking that if anything happened to the young miss or young master, Master Mo would surely turn Jingdu City upside down, and then...
He couldn’t bear to imagine the consequences.
Mo Yunchen raised a faint smile and excused himself to Mo Cang’s old friend, Boss Xu, "I apologize, Uncle Xu, I must leave immediately due to an urgent matter."
