"Go in, he’s been waiting for you."
An Ruichen’s words carried deep meaning; his words encapsulated both the present and these past three years. The current Mo Yunchen awaited Qin Qin’s arrival, and Mo Yunchen of the past three years awaited Qin Qin’s return.
Qin Qin nodded to An Ruichen and entered the private room. The room was large and luxurious, and inside stood Mo Tang beside the sofa. Mo Yunchen’s tall figure leaned against the sofa, feigned sleep with closed eyes, face slightly in pain, holding his stomach with his right hand.
Upon hearing the door open, Mo Tang turned around, looked at Qin Qin who entered, and smiled, "Mad... Miss Qin, you’re here, quickly check on Master Mo."
Qin Qin hurried forward. An Ruichen watched from not far at the door. He could sense that even though Qin Qin had amnesia, her feelings for Mo Yunchen seemed untouched. Sometimes, such emotions unconsciously manifested, just like now. Hearing Mo Yunchen was uncomfortable, she’d worry and rush here to check on him.
An Ruichen stood behind, a gleam of relief in his eyes. During these three years, he had seen enough of Mo Yunchen’s desolation. Now that Qin Qin came back, everything would be better. He believed that the next time he saw Mo Yunchen, the Mo Yunchen from three years ago would surely return.
Qin Qin stood in front of Mo Yunchen, bent down and held his hand, checking his pulse, her expression slightly serious.
Perhaps sensing her presence, Mo Yunchen, who had been feigning sleep, opened his eyes. The cautious look in them softened and he held Qin Qin’s hand.
Qin Qin glared at Mo Yunchen, smelling the alcohol on his breath and frowned tightly, "You have stomach issues and yet you drank so much? If you want to get yourself killed, you shouldn’t have called me."
Mo Yunchen had severe stomach problems, which developed over the past three years. In other words, during these three years, he hadn’t taken care of his stomach; instead, his condition worsened.
Listening to his yielding tone, Qin Qin pursed her lips, took out a pill from her bag, placing it at Mo Yunchen’s lips, "Take it. If you do this again next time, don’t call me. Even if you do, I won’t come."
Mo Yunchen opened his mouth and swallowed the pill from Qin Qin’s fingers, whether intentionally or unintentionally brushing her fingers with his lips.
Feeling the warmth on her fingers, Qin Qin quickly withdrew them, intending to glare at Mo Yunchen, only to meet his deep and gentle gaze.
The next moment, Mo Yunchen closed his eyes, now truly drunk.
Today’s intoxication stemmed from happiness, because his Qinqin had returned.
Mo Tang looked at Qin Qin, speaking quietly and respectfully, "Miss Qin, Master Mo is drunk. Can you help me take him back?"
Qin Qin glanced at Mo Yunchen leaning against the sofa and nodded.
Mo Tang smiled and with Qin Qin bent down to help Mo Yunchen up.
Mo Yunchen’s body suddenly leaned entirely towards Qin Qin, making her side heavy. The two were very close, with no gap between them. She looked up at Mo Yunchen only to see he seemed genuinely drunk, inadvertently leaning on her.
Seeing his master’s sly move, Mo Tang simply murmured to Qin Qin, "Miss Qin, why don’t you take Master Mo out, I’ll go get the car first."
Without waiting for Qin Qin’s agreement, Mo Tang strode outside.
Qin Qin was left staring at An Ruichen at the door in surprise. An Ruichen smiled at her, "Miss Qin, my wife asked me to go back early, I have other things to attend to and won’t be accompanying you two. Let’s meet next time when we’re free."
After speaking, An Ruichen also strode outside, seemingly chased by something.
’Abandoned’ Qin Qin stood speechless, and beside her was the slightly heavy Mo Yunchen. Although Mo Yunchen leaned most of his weight on Qin Qin, there was somehow no heaviness; they were just quite close.
With both of them gone, Qin Qin had no choice but to support Mo Yunchen and head outside. Mo Yunchen’s body leaned against her, his breath brushing against her neck, making her feel uncomfortable all over. A strange sensation arose in Qin Qin’s chest, causing her cheeks to flush slightly, silently cursing herself for thinking about things she shouldn’t.
Whether Mo Tang intended it or not, Qin Qin and Mo Yunchen stood at the clubhouse entrance for a good while before Mo Tang’s car slowly arrived in front of them.
Qin Qin helped Mo Yunchen into the back seat. As she was about to move away, Mo Yunchen’s hand had already pulled her into his embrace, holding her tightly, burying his head into her neck, then his lips moved up to press against her soft lips.
