Mafia Boss To Another World Chapter 19

After Michael finished examining and observing the symbol on his back, he knew this was real.

Michael was in total shock, then he covered his face with both hands.

Michael felt the floor tremble as he tried to process.

’What is this? Why is there a symbol on my back? Is this real? What does it mean? Wait, how can I understand her language? Who is she? Why is she terrorizing me? What is her goal?’

Michael stared at the floor, his body slightly trembling. Slowly he lowered his hands from his face.

Michael tried to calm down, but it was futile. He walked and sat on the sofa, leaning forward.

His gaze looked serious. He then started to ask.

"What is the meaning of this symbol, and why is it on my body? And who are you?"

Not long after, the voice reappeared.

"I can’t explain everything right now. Only that you have a connection to the world that often appears in your dreams."

Then, a transparent white smoke appeared in front of Michael, almost completely invisible.

Michael squinted, observing it seriously.

"You haven’t answered my question. Who are you, really, and how can you speak this world’s language?"

The puff of smoke began to solidify from the feet up to the knees. Now a pair of clean white feet, seemingly soft, were visible.

The feet walked closer toward Michael, who was sitting, looking confused yet serious.

"I learned this world’s language. I introduced myself to you once, but you were unconscious then."

Michael watched the feet, which now walked away toward the bedroom window curtains.

"Oh yes, your name is Michael, right? In that case, let me introduce myself once more. I am Seraphim. I am not from this world. And guess what? You aren’t either. Neither of us belongs here."

The smoke began to solidify very quickly from her knees to the tips of her hair.

Now the figure of the girl Michael had seen before was visible.

Seraphim opened the curtains slowly, sliding them to the right.

"What do you mean? I’ve been in this world since childhood. Are you trying to lie to me?"

Michael stood tall, observing Seraphim’s back, who was wearing the formal suit she usually wore at work.

Seraphim turned her head, rotating her entire body.

Now her true form was clearly visible.

Michael wasn’t surprised because he had seen her many times in his dreams, when Seraphim escorted him to see the flashes of the past in that world.

But what made Michael feel strange was that Seraphim’s face looked slightly similar to Amelia’s, only the hair color and eye color were different.

The earrings she wore also looked similar, just a different color.

Michael felt uncomfortable, and he tried to clear his mind.

’Impossible. Their heights are different, and she’s just a creature from another world.’

Seraphim chuckled softly, covering her mouth while closing her eyes.

"Why are you laughing? Are you trying to make me angry?"

Seraphim stopped laughing, then she walked closer while speaking.

"No, no, don’t misunderstand."

Seraphim was now right in front of Michael, who stood staring at her with a sharp gaze.

Seraphim poked Michael’s chest; her slender index finger slowly slid from top to bottom.

"You’re all grown up now. You were so cute when you were a baby. Haha. Now you look scary, your body is full of scratches like a battlefield map."

’Why did she say that? Baby? What does she mean?’ Michael thought, looking disbelieving after hearing Seraphim’s words.

"Why do you talk as if you know me? Stop your nonsense and explain what you want from me."

Seraphim looked into Michael’s face with her small smile.

"We met before, didn’t we? And you yourself gave me this piece of paper. Do you remember it?"

Seraphim turned toward the morning light that illuminated her, passing through the large bedroom window glass.

Her right hand reached into her pocket while showing the contact paper Michael had once given her in South Korea.

Michael, seeing it, realized that Seraphim was the Elf girl he had met, and this incident was repeating itself for the second time.

’Was what happened when I was in South Korea real? But why is she now using the language of my world? She wasn’t using this language back then.’

’I don’t know about cooperating with her.’

Seraphim put the paper back into her pocket, then she sat on the bed, crossing her legs.

"How about it? Would you like to cooperate with me? I desperately need you right now, and it’s time."

Michael had so many questions in his head that it felt like they would explode, but he tried to act like he wasn’t thinking about it right now.

He walked toward the closet, looking for clothes to cover his body.

Michael had changed, now wearing a white shirt and black slacks (or trousers).

Michael turned, sat on the sofa again, staring at Seraphim, who seemed to be looking around his room.

Seraphim looked at Michael, then she tried to explain slowly.

An hour had passed. Now Michael looked entirely disbelieving; he was completely confused.

’Is... Is this the truth? I... I am the son of the Demon King and the Female Hero in my dreams?’

’Should I believe it? Why does my back feel hot when I try to believe that story, like synchronization?’

A heavy breath escaped Michael’s mouth.

His back felt hot, right where the symbol was.

The explanation that made Michael slightly believe was the fact that Michael had no parents.

Since childhood, Michael often asked the Nun who cared for him.

The Nun said she did not know Michael’s parents.

Michael was found at the church door when the snowy season arrived.

Strangely, there were no footprints or traces in the snow outside the door, as if Michael was left without a trace by someone.

The Nun was also the one who gave him his name when he was a baby.

The Nun seemed to be hiding something from him, possibly about the symbol on Michael’s back.

And why did the Nun name him Michael? Because Michael is the name of one of the archangels, which means blessing, justice, and prosperity, recalling the symbol on Michael’s back.

But Michael only realized it now.

And what most increased Michael’s belief was Seraphim’s explanation that she was the one who delivered baby Michael when he first drifted to this world.

At that time, Seraphim fled using teleportation magic that seemed to be malfunctioning, because baby Michael was being hunted by many humans then.

The Human Race had betrayed the peace oath.

The Female Hero was killed shortly after giving birth to him.

And Michael’s Father, the Demon King, was framed using an anti-magic device that prevented him from doing anything.

Although he could fly, he was in a narrow room when heading to his throne.

Michael’s Father died, killed by the strongest poison in that room.

Now, the lives of the Monsters were tragic.

Almost the entire race faced extinction.

The Elf race, who produce beautiful women, were made slaves, and others were forced into heavy labor.

The ones who betrayed and planned all this were the King of the Human Race and the Female Hero’s older brother.

The older brother now claimed the title of Hero for himself.

The story Seraphim explained felt slightly true to Michael, but there was a falsehood that Michael certainly hadn’t figured out from Seraphim’s intent in explaining this.

’Should... Should I believe all of this? Seraphim’s face looks like she’s hiding a secret. Does she have a hidden motive?’

Michael saw Seraphim, who wore a small smile.

Seraphim, seeing Michael was still doubtful, stood up then showed the palm of her right hand. Chapters fırst released on NoveI-Fire.ɴet

"What are you thinking? Look at this."

Suddenly, small particles of light appeared and filled the room.

The particles flew into Seraphim’s body.

Michael, seeing it, was shocked, and his mind was blank.

Then Seraphim chanted a spell that made a small, blazing fire appear in her palm, floating in the air.

"Miracle, blessing of the World Guardian, I beg you. Mana without end, unite! Fire, blaze!"

Michael’s body felt something strange, trembling.

He stood up unconsciously, seeing an event that had only existed in movies now appearing real before him.

Then Seraphim clenched her hand, making the fire disappear.

The light particles scattered and vanished.

"What do you think? This is called magic. Are you now convinced that your body synchronizes with the casting of magic?"

"This is reality, and you are the son of the two people I admired. Now, I will send you back to where you truly belong."

Just as Michael was about to speak, Seraphim suddenly attacked him.

She pointed at Michael with her finger, casting a short spell that forced Michael to fall asleep and collapse onto the floor.

Then Seraphim carried him to the bed using the Elf race’s signature wind magic. "Wind of Nature!"

Now Michael lay unconscious, soundly asleep.

Seraphim looked at his face and smiled strangely.

"See you again soon."

Seraphim placed her index finger on Michael’s forehead, apparently erasing Michael’s memory of the story she had explained, of herself, and of the world he was now leaving.

Colorful light filled the room, and a dominant sea-blue light entered Michael’s head as he lay there.

Then Seraphim also erased her own memory of this world before moving between worlds.

A large symbol full of intricate circular scripts flew, carrying them to another world, leaving behind an empty room without a trace, and only the broken glass from the sink and drops of blood on the floor remained.
