Lynch stood in front of all the drow, shooting a bolt of lightning in the direction where Little Finger had run. No matter how fast those two little fellows’ legs were, they couldn’t outrun the long legs of a Dark Elf, especially within this base, where the disparity was even more evident. The matron let out a low growl, also realizing that this chase was purely futile. She recalled her men, cursing the damned Underground Union in her heart, yet she had to first concentrate on clearing the battlefield.
If they didn’t hurry, the battle would be fought in vain. The first family’s purpose in coming here was to strengthen their power through combat. Those treacherous betrayers must be dealt with eventually!
Lynch stared blankly in the direction Little Finger had left, only coming back to his senses after a long while. He lowered his head, leaning on his magic wand, silently leaving in the opposite direction.
Zilvra silently watched Lynch’s departing figure, her thoughts unknown.
