"Can’t you see a funeral is being held?" the townsman whispered to Lynch: "Be quiet, priests of holy Pate are rare to see."
Lynch responded with an "oh," quietly standing at the outermost part of the crowd. His companions hurried over, surrounding him.
The funeral continued, with lengthy eulogies going on. However, the more the mage listened, the more something felt amiss, as if they were holding a mourning ceremony for someone with the same name as him. He looked toward the center of the venue, seeing his mother veiled in black, sitting on the ground crying, with Wislin and Morgan by her side.
