Mage Manual Chapter 760

In the Twin Palace, the Dark Serpent Twins did not know why they hadn’t left and were sitting to the side, watching the Swindler.

Igula thought they were waiting for the latest research results, so he didn’t say anything and lowered his head to examine the materials.

After days of studying, he had been able to understand some of the terminology by comparing it with its context, allowing him to interpret more experimental data. However, there was still information he could understand but found too fanciful.

He paced back and forth among the blackboards and suddenly asked, "Have you ever encountered ’gifts from the Void Realm’?"

The Dark Serpent Twins immediately responded, "What exactly are ’gifts from the Void Realm’?"

"To put it simply," Igula said, looking at the materials in his hand, "it’s when you are in the Void Realm or in reality, and creatures from the Void Realm suddenly help you. For example, Bronze Dragons, Grudge Dragons, and so on..."

The Dark Serpent Twins shook their heads, "How could creatures from the Void Realm help a Mage? Isn’t it always a battle upon meeting?"

"These experimental materials mention that some Mages are naturally able to resonate with the Void Realm," Igula continued, "In addition to displaying astonishing talent in specific Magic Factions, some creatures of the Void Realm even view them as kin, pets, or partners, thereby often bestowing gifts upon them. Moreover, these creatures from the Void Realm have a very high status, with intelligence basically equivalent to Mages, not at all like the Fish-Slicing Dragon, a simple infant’s edible toy..."

Harvey turned his head to look at Alice, and Alice also looked back at him. Then he reached out his hand, and Alice directly opened her mouth to bite all four of his fingers. The Necromancer looked at the Swindler, his eyes expressing a subtle questioning.

Igula saw this scene and naturally understood the message that Harvey’s silent performance conveyed. In fact, it wouldn’t matter if the Necromancer openly said that a retarded creature from the Void Realm had worn his body like a suit, with the Dark Serpent Twins’ four eyes, and the Black Crow needing no eyes, as if no one would notice.

However, Igula was not interested in Harvey’s talent; as long as Harvey could confirm that this experimental data was not a randomly fabricated game setting, it was enough.

"Many of the living Mages in the laboratory were geniuses with this type of talent," Igula mentioned casually about the cruel hunts from centuries ago, "They were also the initial twin subjects of the experiment, whom Nightfall overlaid with fate time and again, stacking their talents to the extreme."

The Dark Serpent Twins found this odd and asked, "Why do this?"

"Because when talent reaches its limit, Mages can resonate with Wonders of the Void Realm," Igula explained, "It’s not written where this conclusion comes from, possibly the knowledge comes from a higher existence... In any case, the core idea of the twin experiment is to create a Life that can resonate intensely with the Wonders of the Void Realm."

"Being able to resonate with the Wonders of the Void Realm, what then?" The Dark Serpent Twins still did not understand, "Is it easier to find Wonders in the Void Realm?"

Igula’s tone gradually became more passionate, his entire being exuding a bizarre brilliance, his pupils reflecting the words on the materials, and a trace of vivid color emerging on his pale, sickly face, almost causing the Dark Serpent Twins to miss what he was saying, "Although I don’t understand the principle at all, the trials beneath the Abyss can allow the Trialists to accumulate Time Talent unstoppably!"

"If what’s written here is true, then all we need to do is to initiate the Divine Fire Trial to activate the twin system, then throw in a batch of people to consume each other, and then we would be able to gain—"

As if an ancient fossil was peeling off, the Black Crow slightly lifted its head; its neck emitted a minor but clear sound. It was like the grating sound of sharpening a knife, like the murky sound of a trigger being pulled.

Igula turned his head, briefly glancing at him from the corner of his eye, and continued, "The Trialists who complete all the trials will gain extreme Time Talent in a short period, resonating with their corresponding Void Realm Wonder, to the extent that their Gate of Truth can directly connect to the Wonder’s essence!"

The Time Talent corresponding to the Void Realm Wonder...

Other than the Black Crow, the Mages immediately realized how shockingly unconventional this plan was. No wonder Igula was so excited; even if it was just a legacy from centuries ago, as a Swindler, how could he not be moved by the grand gestures of his predecessors?

"They want to deceive the Void Realm and bring the Flowing Gold River into reality!" Igula turned his head towards the sealed Abyss, recalling a scribble from the materials:

"Reality and the Void Realm embrace each other, and myth will be born among them."

"This isn’t what we agreed upon!"

"I’m definitely going to kill them once I’m out!"

"It seems Fate has played a joke on me again..."

Weiser, after all, was a Mage who had traversed thousands of miles alone in the Sea of Knowledge. Although the appearance of the Flowing Gold River was enough to take up all the thinking resources in her mind, her body’s instincts were sufficient to maintain her form in the turbulent river.

Ash, having collided with her, instinctively hugged Weiser’s waist before being swept away, but after being promptly kicked away by Weiser, he also got a brief respite to barely withstand the scouring of the Flowing Gold River.

At the same time, those Legendary figures, long sealed in statues, one after another, were resurrected from the Flowing Gold River!

The eyes of a young Female Mage, turned into clocks, strolled leisurely through the Flowing Gold River as if unaffected by the current, "Where are the Fangyuan Cicadas?"

"Stop your chatter, Scatty," another Beastman Mage growled, "Clearly there’s a problem with another part, Nightfall didn’t wake us up according to the plan... Meis, can you contact the ones above?"
