Serena's heart thudded and she had goosebumps all over. She took a glance at Charlton and their eyes met. He gave her a wry smile, and she knew that she has met her match.
Emily's song was not just good. It was phenomenal, and definitely, based on the beat, it will dominate the balls soon.

After the recording session, Serena who sent Jack on an errand was able to leave on secrecy riding Charlton's omnibus.
Charlton began. "Serena, I did not mean to…"
"No, it's okay. I'm sure that Emily's song by itself was already good. The lyrics was also very fitting for her debut song. From the start, I already knew that she was also very talented so it's not a surprise that she can come up with that." Serena answered.
"But I still feel guilty…" Charlton sighed.
Serena giggled, "Now, I don't want to be a spoil sport and spend the last day we're together before you go back to Suffox talking about Emily. But if you truly feel guilty, perhaps you can make it up to me by sending Jack on an errand so you can take over in driving this car and we can just go for an adventure somewhere in the wilderness."
Charlton tapped her nose. "You and your perverted mind."
"Well, if you don't like that then, your loss." Serena pouted.
"Who said that I don't?" Charlton quipped as he opened the small window so that he can talk to Jack and inform him of the change in plans.

Charlton took over in driving the car and after an hour, they arrived in an inhabited area by the sea.
Serena who felt the car stopping opened the door to alight the car. She looked around and saw that they were by a cliff. There were trees behind them and in front, as the site was not developed, there was no fence so one must be careful of walking to the edge as one might accidentally fall over. She can hear the splashing of sea water below. She inhaled the slightly salty scent of the sea and smiled.
Charlton wrapped his arms around her from behind.
Serena placed her hands on top his, "It's beautiful here."
Charlton chuckled. "You're beautiful."
Serena smacked his hand, but she was wearing a grin, "you and your sweet mouth."
"I am telling the truth. Though, it is indeed sweet, and I know you like sweets." He quipped as he turned her body to face his.
Serena looked up so that their eyes met. She could not help but get lost in his eyes. He was more than beautiful, and vividly, she recalled the first time she saw him.
It was almost similar, the sun shining upon him, the wind tousling his hair. She could not help but want to kiss him, so she did.
Charlton kissed her back with more fervor. Their kiss becoming more passionate. Not being able to help himself, he hoisted her up, and Serena, wrapped her legs around his body.

Serena giggled and he chuckled. They continued to sit beside each other that way. The door open facing the cliff, the cool wind coming in, the scent of the sea intermixed with their hair as they watched the sunset. It was beautiful.
Everything so far has been beautiful and magical.
