Ruan Qiuqiu nodded with a blushing face. If the wolf was unconscious, then she was able to apply the medicine for him without changing her expression, but… he was awake.
“Okay then, I’m going to go wash up.” Ruan Qiuqiu touched her ears. She really didn’t mean anything by it. “It’s getting late. Time to sleep.”

Ruan Qiuqiu added hot water to a wooden basin and took it with her to the storage room to wash up. By the time she was done and came back, gray wolf Tianluo was done with applying the medicine.
She helped him by preparing hot water, and then she watched Yuan Jue walk off to the storage room by himself with a straight back.
Ruan Qiuqiu looked at the folded animal skin blanket on the stone bed. She slightly sighed. She seized this time to split the animal skin that Tian Xiu had brought into two blankets. Before Mr. Gray Wolf had come back, she quickly burrowed underneath the blanket on the inner part of the bed.
She waited for the wolf to come back with flushed cheeks.
She didn’t know why it took the wolf so long to wash up. She had been using her energy to recover from the fever as well as spending the afternoon making clothes. She couldn’t stay awake any longer and quickly fell into dreamland.
The wolf wiped his face with cold water several times. It was only then that he was barely able to reduce the heat on his cheeks.
He had already mentally prepared for the possibility that Ruan Qiuqiu wouldn’t sleep under the same blanket as him, but he was still a little bit disappointed when he came back and saw two blankets that were a distance apart.
He walked over to the stone table with wicked intentions. He picked up the clothing that Ruan Qiuqiu had spent all afternoon making. Like a foolish wolf, he lightly kissed the clothing before putting it on.
After he found out that the clothing size was right, his long and narrow eyes glimmered like the twinkling stars on a moonlit night. After today, there were more beautiful images for Mr. Gray Wolf to carve onto the bed.

The night passed peacefully. Ruan Qiuqiu slept very well. Other than dreaming about a wolf pup that kept bothering her with his tail, everything was perfect.
When Ruan Qiuqiu woke up the next day, she felt that the worst of her fever had passed. She had recovered most of the strength in her hands and feet.
She and the wolf were both sleeping in their own blankets. The cave was very quiet, and the wolf had returned to quietly lying in bed. It was as she had imagined him being awake and keeping her company all day yesterday
Ruan Qiuqiu didn’t know that the wolf was up to something.
Yuan Jue had already planned out their future. They now had herbs and spiritual energy stones. Before the beast tide came, he had to quickly recover and get to the point where he could take her away from here and ensure her safety.
The strength of a fifth level demon wasn’t enough for that. He had to think of a way to cultivate both his demon core and his newly condensed fiend core to level 5.
If he could do that, he might be able to protect her.
For the sake of this, he had to wholeheartedly cultivate and improve his power within the limits of his ability and control.
