Ruan Qiuqiu took a few steps forward with the “wheelchair”. She was a bit surprised that Mr. Gray Wolf was waiting for her outside. If he had awoken, why didn’t he contact her with the telepathic pearls?

She had only taken a few steps forward and, before she reached the entrance of the cave, the wolf moved.
His was as agile as he was a few nights ago. There was nothing under his left knee but he was somehow able to come up next to her quickly.
“Why are you waiting out here?” Ruan Qiuqiu couldn’t help but asked.
The wolf’s brows were dim and he lifted his hand and brushed passed her long eyelashes. His eyes narrowed and his voice deep, “Aowu… … (Wife… …)”
The wolf, who thought his wife still couldn’t understand him now that they were no longer in his memory world, took the opportunity that she was home late and was being coquettish pretending that he was still groggy.
Ruan Qiuqiu, “… …” She had never expected to hear “wife” from Mr. Gray Wolf like this.
Yuan Jue’s voice was low and dull, as though he had been wronged, yet his tone sounded like they were forced through gritted teeth, “Ao… … Aowu… … (You are back so late because you have been spending time with this eagle?)”

Tianxiu, “… … … …”
A certain wolf’s simple “Aowu” was hoarse and sexy toward the end. When Ruan Qiuqiu heard that, she felt a peculiar feeling inside her heart and her ears reddened. She didn’t know what to make of that.
The air quieted down and there seemed to even have been a bit of an eerie embarrassment.
Ruan Qiuqiu merely had her ears reddened. Probably because she had already gotten used to young Mr. Gray Wolf’s milky “aowu” inside the memory world and she wasn’t too shocked by Mr. Gray Wolf’s abrupt coquettish behavior.
Tianxiu, on the other hand, was nowhere as calm as she was.
He was stunned. He couldn’t believe his two eyes that had no blind spots 360 degrees around. The two long hairs on both side of his head stuck up like antennas with electricity running through them.
His red feathers puffed up and expanded in all directions. His beak dropped open and a portion of tongue that was a much darker color than many other animals could now be seen.

It was difficult for her to maintain her calm look after she saw Tianxiu’s comical reaction.
Ruan Qiuqiu decided to ignore him. Her lifted right hand that had been holding onto the side of the wheelchair and brushed a strand of her long hair back behind her ear. Her cold fingertip brushed against her ear and she tried to suppress the heat and the odd sensation that started rising up from inside of her.
She took a breath calmly and, looking at a certain “scheming” wolf who looked wobbly standing there, felt amused. Her lips curving upward. Even though she knew that the wolf had no idea that she could understand his words now, she still wanted to tease him.
Ruan Qiuqiu resorted back to her old way of communicating with him and said gently, “Husband, it’s cold outside. Why didn’t you put on your cloth properly?”
“Oh yeah, I happened to run into Tianxiu over at Grandma Ruyi’s place. He told me that the Winter Bear Trible could use some herbs and I thought we had some common herbs at home that we have no use of, so I had him come with me to pick them up… …”
Mr. Gray Wolf, who was so jealous that he was about to lose his mind, “… …”
Truth was, Yuan Jue was still feeling a little dizzy. He had been cultivating for a while now but, as he didn’t have any energy stones, he was still experiencing some pain inside of him.
He didn’t wait for too long outside. Perhaps around 2 hours or so.
His limbs, however, were chilly.
The perverted and scheming wolf’s original plan was to pretend to pass out when Qiuqiu got close to the cave and had her half carry him back inside of the cave. He would then take the opportunity to “accidentally” brushed past the corner of her lips.
