Feng Lin held the gun in his hand, sweeping horizontally, chopping vertically, sometimes pulling, sometimes flicking.
He moved his arms at an extremely fast speed, not letting Wu catch his wrist, which would affect his shooting.
Apart from that initial shot, he hadn’t fired again, but his threat to Wu was greater than if he were continuously shooting.
Feng Lin’s arm flicked again, the air crackling with the motion as though he wielded an axe, chopping at Wu’s waist.
Wu didn’t dare to block, knowing that any pause would allow his opponent to twist his wrist and shoot him.
He moved his feet, darting to Feng Lin’s right side with Bagua’s step technique while Feng Lin almost simultaneously turned and continued to strike at Wu.
Wu’s heart hardened, and he stopped worrying about Feng Lin’s incoming arm, instead lifting his right fist and striking directly at Feng Lin’s forehead.
"If you shoot me, I’ll crush your head with one punch!"
Feng Lin squinted his eyes, lifting his left arm to block in front of him while his right hand didn’t pause at all.
Wu’s right fist met Feng Lin’s left arm first.
Feng Lin’s body shook, but the impact of Wu’s Splitting Fist Power caused Feng Lin to be unable to shoot immediately.
Seizing the opportunity, Wu’s left hand finally grabbed Feng Lin’s wrist, diverting his right hand.
Then his right hand slipped past Feng Lin’s left arm and clutched his opponent’s throat.
"How about that?" Wu asked, looking at Feng Lin.
With a cold snort from Feng Lin, Wu looked down to see that a gun had appeared in his opponent’s left hand at some point.
Wu’s pupils contracted, and he instinctively released his grip, stepping back with a complex expression.
"I admit, I indeed underestimated you."
Feng Lin, holding guns in both hands, looked at Wu, "If I had used dual guns from the start, do you think you’d still stand a chance?"
The lobby was now silent. After that initial shot, everyone instinctively hid, staying away from the two combatants.
Wu glanced at the gun in Feng Lin’s left hand, his brow furrowing, then looked at Feng Lin, "Let’s try again and see."
Feng Lin burst out laughing, but his eyes showed a bit of admiration.
He had originally thought that with his shooting speed, even within seven steps, he could shoot Wu, but he had underestimated Wu’s Fist Intent and lost the initial advantage, allowing Wu to close in.
After setting a trap for Wu with a Tan Tui that disrupted his attack, he thought he would certainly hit Wu this time, but again he missed.
After two consecutive misses and letting Wu seize the chance to grapple in close combat, Feng Lin began to regard him somewhat reluctantly.
"When I was your age, I thought that with my Kung Fu, I could go anywhere in the world. But it was only after I met a true master of the gun that I realized I was just a frog in the well."
Wu’s expression was flat, "So you started Gun Training?"
Feng Lin smiled, "You’ve had a taste of my Spear Technique just now."
Wu, "And what of it?"
Feng Lin’s smile faded, "With your skill, if you start Gun Training now, you have a chance to surpass me in five years."
Wu laughed, "Without a gun, in three years, you won’t even be able to fire a shot in my presence, believe it?"
Feng Lin’s expression turned cold; he had tried to persuade Wu patiently due to a slight respect for his talent, but Wu was utterly dismissive, so Feng Lin couldn’t be bothered to say more.
He raised the gun in his hand and sneered, "Three years? Believe it or not, I could shoot you dead right now?"
As Wu was about to speak, a siren sounded from outside, signaling that someone at the hotel had called the police, and they were arriving.
Feng Lin gave Wu a deep look, left behind a sentence, and turned to leave.
"In the Underworld, there’s a list that mentions the Divine Spear. Look it up, and you’ll know if you’re a frog in a well."
