Bright silver light attacked everyone's eyes, and the crowd gasped in amazement at the sight before them.
As their eyes squinted at the bright light, they heard the energetic crackling sound of the lightning head towards the center stage.
The referee's eyes widened in shock, and he jumped away to safety after seeing the lightning head straight towards the fighting stage.
"Fucking lightning?!"
Zachary screamed and then covered his head with his muscular arms. He didn't plan to leave the stage and lose the fight because of it.
However, he expected Kiernan to run away with his tail between his legs, but to his surprise, he kept pointing his two fingers towards the silvery lightning bolt.
"Kiernan, watch out!"
Screams warned him, but he seemed oblivious to the danger of the silvery lightning bolt.
If a normal person got hit by that, they would get charred to a crisp in a second.
'Young Kiernan, what are you planning?'
Sabbath looked genuinely shocked at the sudden appearance of the lightning bolt and thought that these youngsters of Martial Champion rank wouldn't stand a chance at surviving that.
He even debated whether he should just stop the lightning bolt by himself, but there was something nagging at the back of his head.
It looked like Kiernan was anticipating this lightning!
'Move… move… I need to stop it!'
Sabbath thought to himself, but he then looked at Kiernan's eyes, who looked more concentrated than ever before.
It was clear that his entire attention was on the lightning bolt because his wounds had reopened as he stopped using Tight Binding on them.
At that moment, the lightning came crashing down and struck straight at Kiernan, enveloping him in a sea of silver lightning storm.
The commentators screamed.
"The lightning has struck Kiernan! Is he alright? What a horrendous turn of events!"
The crowd gasped and covered their mouths in shock. It was a tragedy!

However, to the ultimate surprise, the destructive lightning bolt ran down Kiernan's right arm and danced around his body like a living snake.

No one could understand what the hell was happening.

Sabbath sat down in a shock.
He was the type of man that was not surprised very often, but this… truly surprised him to the core.
'He used his fingers as some kind of lightning rod to absorb the electricity from the bolt and then channeled it into his own body, allowing him to harness its power.
Zachary looked at the lightning-engulfed Kiernan and had a horrible feeling brewing deep inside his body.
It felt like he was facing a lightning god!
Kiernan moved his arms gracefully, juggling the lightning with ease and control, a sight that left everyone in awe.
And then, with his eyes crackling with lightning, he turned to look at Zachary, who stepped back in shock.
The voice sounded deep and crackled like lightning itself.
Kiernan extended his right arm, pointing the two fingers straight at Zachary, and drew them back, launching a bolt of electricity straight at him.
The lightning bolt zigged through the air and pierced through Zachary like a spear of gods.
Struck by lightning, Zachary's eyes rolled way back to his skull, and his body convulsed uncontrollably.
The lightning bolt left his body charred and smoking, leaving behind a foul, burnt smell in the air.
In front of everyone's eyes, Zachary collapsed on the ground, smoking like a burned sausage, and not moving an inch.
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!"
"What the hell was that?!"
Silence fell over Klaus' apartment as everyone sat with wide eyes and open mouths.
"Uh… what the fuck? Yo, Klaus, can you roll back to see what the hell happened?"
"This is ten-year-old TV. It doesn't have that feature."
Klaus replied with a sigh.
"I-I thought that was Martial Ability for a second! How in the hell was Kiernan capable of harnessing the lightning bolt despite being only Martial Champion?!"
Timothy nudged his glasses and wondered aloud.
It was something that seemed impossible to him, especially after seeing Kiernan stand completely unharmed.
While harnessing the power, Kiernan was able to dodge all of the lightning bolt's destructive prowess, which was even more impressive than Timothy had ever seen in any movie or comic book.
"I really don't get Kiernan, honestly."
Ryan said with a sigh.
"What do you mean, Ryan?"
"Kiernan is seventeen years old and has created his own martial arts style to the level that makes every other style seem amateur in comparison.
"How is a seventeen-year-old capable of doing that?"

Nevaeh covered her mouth in a shocked gasp and whispered, "Truly remarkable," to herself. She had never witnessed anything like it before.
Bella whispered and then turned to look at her big sister with a smile on her face.
"Have you seen anyone capable of doing that before?"
"Non-Martial Ability user? Never."
Nevaeh said confidently.
"What about Martial Ability users?"
Bella asked with a knowing smile.
"I have met a few lightning-based users, and they're capable of doing that. I know Martial Kings wouldn't flinch even after getting hit by that lightning, but be able to harness it and use it as a weapon? That's a whole new level of skill and power."
Nevaeh said with a sense of admiration and respect.
Bella smiled and turned back to the laptop before saying something shocking.
"When Kiernan reaches the Immortal Realm, and arrives at the doorstep of godhood, he will face the Tribulation Lightning. I think we're witnessing the birth of the new Martial God."
Nevaeh's eyes rounded up in shock after hearing her little sister's bold words.
"I know he is your son… But saying something like that can be considered blasphemous. He is far from reaching that stage."
"I know, sis, but he convinced me already. I will start preparing for the required sacrificial ceremonies for when he is ready to battle for godhood."
