With Zachary's broad, muscle-filled back crashing against the ground, he let out a groan of pain, but then, with some difficulty, stood right back up.
He turned back to Kiernan, his hair wild and tangled, looking like seaweed, drooping over his forehead.
Kiernan stood still, his breathing rough and raspy, as it sounded like he was trying to catch his breath after running a marathon.
It took everything he had to not collapse onto the ground.
'How is this bastard still able to move like that?'
Alabaster dug his fingers deep into his hands, trying to stop his rising anger and frustration.
It should've been over already!
'At this stage, Kiernan's organs are failing one after another. There's no way he can keep fighting for much longer.'
Silently, Kiernan took a step forward, but when he tried to look forward, his vision had completely turned misty as if he were standing in the middle of a snowstorm.
It was the same as being blind at this point.
Zachary narrowed his eyes and threw one quick jab, and with a resounding smash, his fist collided with Kiernan's nose.
Blood spurted out like a fountain, and Kiernan's head snapped back in surprise.
"Another punch landed! Kiernan can't keep falling asleep . It is very unlike him to get hit by such obvious-looking punches!"

Kiernan quickly hid himself behind his arms, but Zachary was too quick and landed another punch on his side.
A groan of pain escaped Kiernan's lips, and any normal person would've started clutching their sides in pain, but not him.
He kept his posture up as he believed that if he dropped his stance, he wouldn't have enough strength to continue fighting.
"I know. You don't have any strength to fight back, do you? That technique of yours, where you made me drop to the ground, was a technique where you used my strength against me.

Kiernan couldn't answer back, as speaking was like torture for him, but he was correct, as there was no strength left in his body.

With his claw-like fingers, he lunged forward, and like a pouncing lion, he swung his fingers towards Kiernan's neck!

Kiernan moved forward towards the jaws of death, and when the fingers neared his throat, he ducked underneath it and slammed his hips against Zachary's side.

He couldn't see those punches because of his misty vision, but he heard Zachary's footsteps, and with that, he calculated the range of his punches.
Thus, all he did was stay barely out of the range of his punches.
At that moment, Kiernan's feet reached the edge of the ring, and it was perfectly captured by the cameras, which broadcasted it to millions of households.
It was all over—what everyone thought while watching from their homes.
At that moment, Zachary, fearlessly, threw another straight punch, and it seemed would be the winning move.
However, at this moment, Kiernan dove under the stretching arm and slammed his hips against Zachary, once again using this technique!
Zachary's veins throbbed in annoyance, but at that moment, he noticed that they had somehow reached the edge of the ring.
