Martial Arts Worlds Chapter 486

Seo Donghae weaved through the waves of people, moving his body like a dancer on stage, and then dashed through the encirclement.

At that moment, several powerful aura-wielding people surrounded him from all sides—they reached their hands towards the ball.

Seo flicked his wrist, transferred the ball to his left hand, and then crossed to the left—his path got blocked—he then sidestepped and brushed past them.

With a concentrated look on his face, he ran straight forward, but then one person did a sliding tackle and swept his legs out from under him.

Seo felt light—his vision went from looking straight ahead to looking towards the sky—then his back crashed against the ground.

A pile of people instantly swarmed around him, blocking his view, and jumped on top of him.

Seo covered the ball inside his left fist, but it got quickly ripped out, and he felt the weight of multiple bodies pressing down on him.

He pushed everyone off, jumped to his feet, and looked around for the ball, but it was already long gone.

A person was running away ahead, and everyone was chasing after him like their lives depended on it.

It had been thirty minutes since the start of the first event, and at the current moment, a frantic-looking young man ran across the field with the point ball in his hands.

At that moment, he got tripped, and he face-planted on the ground—the ball got ripped out of his hands.

Gritting his teeth, a multi-colored-haired young man turned around but saw that he was surrounded, and he got tackled down to the ground.

The tackles broke a few of his ribs, and he could feel the pain shooting through his body.

He lost the ball immediately, and an ordinary-looking young woman got ahold of it, but before she could make a move, the ball got smacked out of her hands.

The ball flew across the air and fell in the footsteps of a young man.

Silently, the tan-skinned young man picked up the ball.

"This is… Ngqwele Yezulu of Xarmine Country. It's one of the hottest countries in the world, and it is home to some of the most beautiful beaches and landscapes!"

Ngqwele looked at the ball in his hand, then at the people charging at him, and reeled back his arm.

At that moment, he threw the ball with all his strength towards the sky—it flew at insane speed!

"W-what! Ngqwele decided to throw the ball? What could he be thinking about?!"

"Why did he do that? Shouldn't he have tried to get as many points as possible?"

Ngqwele crouched, then dashed through the crowd of people, pushing them all off, and started running after the ball.

Everyone shook off their startled state and started to run after the ball.

"This is what this bastard planned!"

"He knew that he could've probably just held the ball for one more second before it got ripped out of his hands, which is why he threw it so no one gets any points!"

Ngqwele jumped off the ground, caught the ball in the air, landed on the ground, and then resumed running.

Everyone was panting heavily, trying to keep up with him, but Ngqwele was easily pulling ahead.

"…This is easier than I thought."

Ngqwele said aloud as he kept running—he believed that at his rate he was going to win the first event.

All he had to do was run.

"Heh, easy, you say?"

Zeus caught up to Ngqwele easily, and as his eyes turned wide in surprise as he didn't think anyone could keep up with him, Zeus snatched the ball from his hands.

Zeus grinned and pulled ahead—he left Ngqwele in dust.

Nightingale, Abracadabra Castle.

"It's Zeus! He finally has the ball!"

Kiah said with his high-pitched tone—he was sitting on the floor—while the rest of the Abracadabra members sat on the couches.

They were all looking at the screen.

A cute-looking baby in Nevaeh's arms reached her small hand towards the screen, as if she were pointing at Zeus.

"Yes, Easter… That's your big brother."

Nevaeh said with a smile.

Sitting alone in a small chair, Charity Abracadabra bopped her head from side to side, hugging a small teddy bear against her chest.

Standing behind her, Christmas was fiddling with her phone, but when she heard the mention of Zeus, she looked over to the screen momentarily.

She just rolled her eyes and went back to her phone.

Looking from the back of the room, Messiah Abracadabra looked at the screen with a cold look and ignored the mention of Zeus entirely.

The memories of the Junior Martial Arts Championship weren't kind to him—he was the previous Nightingale representative.

In the end, he reached fourth place in the final rankings, which was amazing in its own right, but to him, it was insane disappointment.

Creak—at that moment, the door opened, and a couple of figures entered the room—they were Karl-Michael, Armstrong, and Bella.

Karl-Michael asked and then looked at the screen, where Zeus was running away from the horde of people.

"Good, looking like."

Armstrong said coldly, then gazed in the direction of his oldest son—Messiah—and just shook his head.

This was a competition.

Last time, it was his son, Messiah, participating in the championship. Now it was Nevaeh's son's turn, and since Armstrong and Nevaeh were siblings, there was little competition between the two of them.

Whether Zeus would outperform Messiah in the final rankings.

Bella looked silently at the screen and tried to find someone there—but of course, in the midst of three hundred people, it wasn't easy.

However, she knew that he was participating—she was the only one among the Abracadabra family that knew—that her son was also participating.

Therefore, Zeus wasn't only competing against Messiah. He was also competing against his son, Kiernan.

Thus, there was actually competition between all three siblings!

Bella looked at the rankings through her phone—it was being constantly updated—but by the looks of it, her son didn't have even one point yet.
