The once peaceful village of Konoha was now filled with endless screams echoing through the streets and alleys.
Residents were being chased by a horde of rotting monsters that resembled corpses.
Some of these creatures moved quickly, pouncing on unlucky villagers, tearing into them and devouring them as if they were nothing more than food.
The appearance of these monsters prompted the ninja of Konoha to launch a counterattack.
However, these were not ordinary monsters—they were zombies. Regular attacks had no effect, and they seemed to retain their previous intelligence and chakra. Even after becoming zombies, they could still instinctively use ninjutsu.
"Fire Style! Great Fireball Technique!"
Several Chunin tried to destroy the zombies with the Great Fireball Technique.
But some zombies formed hand seals and unleashed Water Style jutsu to douse the flames.
"What?!"

At that moment, Might Guy's voice rang out. He descended from the sky like a meteor, diving into the horde of zombies.
"Konoha Great Whirlwind!"
Guy's kicks were like a tornado, sweeping away several zombies, breaking their bones. Even though they were still alive, they were rendered immobile.
"No matter what kind of monsters they are, if they have any biological characteristics, they can be defeated. If you can't kill them, break their bones so they can't move!"

Their skin turned bright red, their ribs protruded from their torsos, and foul-smelling liquid oozed from their wounds.
These were the rare evolved Blood Zombies, far more powerful and faster than regular zombies!
"RAAARGH!!"
The Blood Zombies roared in fury, charging at Guy with incredible speed.
Guy was forced to retreat quickly to avoid their attacks.
But the next moment, the Blood Zombies started using a crude but deadly form of taijutsu, clawing and kicking at Guy, forcing him further back.
"This is Konoha's taijutsu! Could they be former Konoha ninjas turned into zombies?"
Guy couldn't believe what he was seeing. His mind momentarily froze, slowing his reactions just as the Blood Zombies' claws were about to reach him.
"Watch out!"
Shizune's voice rang out as she appeared beside Guy in a blur of movement.
She quickly struck the Blood Zombies with punches and kicks, reducing them to nothing more than scattered pieces of flesh.
"Huh?"
Guy was momentarily stunned by the sudden turn of events.
"Are you okay?"
Shizune asked urgently.
"The situation is critical. Due to the strange smoke, many people have turned into these lifeless monsters. These creatures have astonishing vitality. If you don't destroy their heads or completely obliterate their bodies, they won't die."
As Shizune explained, she suddenly grabbed a nearby street lamp, hurling it like a spear toward a group of ninjas being overwhelmed by zombies. The lamp pierced several zombies' heads in one strike, helping them escape.
"Now that you understand, focus on eliminating these monsters and saving people. Be careful not to inhale the strange gas!"
Shizune said before rushing off to help others.
Guy watched her retreating figure with some confusion, murmuring to himself, "This girl has such powerful taijutsu. Well! I can't lose to her!"
As a master of taijutsu, Guy felt inspired by Shizune's display of strength. With renewed vigor, he rallied Lee, Neji, and Tenten to assist others in need.
"So strong... is this the power of a Yato?"
Shizune glanced at her own body, feeling the overwhelming strength coursing through her. Even without using chakra, she could fight on par with Jounin-level opponents.

And it wasn't just one; more of these giant zombie monsters emerged, catching everyone off guard.
"Wait! Those are some of my uncles!"
Choji recognized the giants from their rotting faces and was shocked.

The thought terrified Choji, causing his entire body to tremble uncontrollably.
"Choji, watch out!"
Asuma rushed to Choji's side, cutting through falling debris with his twin blades to save him.
"Don't get distracted. If it's too hard, don't look. We'll take care of it."
Asuma reassured Choji, who nodded with tears in his eyes.
The giant zombies continued their rampage, making the situation even more dire, with casualties rising rapidly.
"Damn it, if this continues, Konoha will be destroyed."
Kakashi stood atop a tall building, preparing his Chidori.
