"You two… are you from the Ventrue Clan as well?"
Namor turned to Clarice and Lorna, frowning slightly.
The intel he had received didn't mention any other vampires on this flight—just Mia and her two count-ranked bodyguards.
But now, all the regular passengers were huddled in fear. No one dared speak up.
Clarice and Lorna stepping forward at a time ? That was not something ordinary people would do.
"What Ventrue Clan? I don't know what you're talking about. Let her go now, or you'll regret it!"
Lorna raised both hands, her voice full of defiance.
Namor could tell she wasn't lying. But the way she lifted her hands confirmed something else: even if she wasn't from the Ventrue Clan, she definitely wasn't normal.
"Girls… this is a personal matter between me and them. I suggest you stay out of it. I don't enjoy killing innocents, but if you get in the way… don't blame me."
Namor's voice was calm, but there was danger behind it.
Clarice suddenly barked the command.
Clearly, this wasn't their first time working together.
The moment Clarice spoke, Lorna's hands snapped inward—
Seats around Namor suddenly twisted and reformed into glowing metal chains, which surged toward him and wrapped around his body!
One chain even turned into a sharp spike and shot straight for the hand he was using to hold Mia!
Namor's expression tightened, and he instinctively jerked his arm back, dodging the attack.
But he let go of Mia.
At that moment, a glowing portal opened beside her, and a hand reached through—pulling her in.
In a blink, Mia was standing safely next to Clarice.
Mia looked at the two girls in shock and wonder—completely stunned by how powerful they were.
She hadn't expected her new friends to be like her—not ordinary—and even capable of rescuing her from Namor's grip.
They seemed even stronger than she was.
Before the three could say anything to each other, Mia's two bodyguards—seeing her safe and Namor bound—charged forward with fury in their eyes and murder in their hearts.
But Namor didn't panic.
He simply glanced at them with a mocking expression—
Two jets of water shot out from his mouth!
One arrow of water hit the first bodyguard dead-on—blasting his head apart in an instant. Blood splattered across the entire cabin.
The second guard reacted a bit faster and dodged slightly—But even then, the water pierced through his shoulder and sent him flying into the cabin wall!
A few passengers nearby were covered in blood, triggering another wave of screams.
Namor sneered at the injured bodyguard before turning his gaze back to the girls.
Clarice and Lorna stood ready, tense and silent.
"Your power… reminds me of an old friend."
As Namor finished speaking, his body suddenly tensed—
And with a sharp tremor, the metal chains wrapped around him snapped apart instantly, unable to hold him any longer.
Breaking free, he lifted his foot and began walking toward the three girls.
Lorna immediately raised her hands to attack again—
But before she could act, Raymond appeared at her side, gently pressing her hands down.
"Don't," Raymond said calmly. "With just you girls, you're not going to take down the King of the Seas…"
Namor stopped in his tracks.
He hadn't even noticed when Raymond got up or moved. That was a problem. This guy wasn't ordinary.
"You know me?" Namor asked, his tone more serious. "But I don't remember meeting you."
"We haven't met. But I've heard the name—Namor, the Sea King," Raymond replied, shaking his head.
"I wasn't planning to get involved in someone else's business, but now that things have gone this far… I guess I don't have a choice. So, how about doing me a favor and letting this one go?"
Namor narrowed his eyes, staring hard at Raymond.
Then, unexpectedly, he said—
"Wait—what? I thought you were going to say—uh, what did you say?"
Namor didn't repeat himself.
Instead, he turned to Mia and said coldly, "Send my regards to your shameless father. Tell him… this isn't over."
He blasted upward, crashing straight through the ceiling of the plane, vanishing into the sky.
A gaping hole now yawned in the fuselage, and the sudden pressure drop pulled people upward toward the breach!
"Lorna!" Raymond shouted while steadying those around him.
Lorna understood immediately—she extended her hands and used her powers to draw the torn metal together, sealing the breach and blocking the air from escaping.
Gradually, the chaos inside the cabin began to settle.
Still, many passengers were frozen with terror. Some were crying. Some had even wet themselves. The cabin was a total mess.
Raymond wasn't surprised, though.
Anyone caught in a scene like that—especially regular civilians—would be traumatized.
Even his past self probably would've panicked in their place.
But what really confused him was…
Why did Namor actually back off?
Did his name really carry that much weight?
They didn't even know each other!
Raymond had only said that as a way to give himself an excuse to act if needed.
He never thought Namor would just accept it without argument and fly away without even throwing out a final threat.
"Did I accidentally eat the mythical 'Respect-Respect Fruit' or something?"
From how effortlessly Namor had killed those two vampire bodyguards, it was obvious he hadn't even used his full strength. That had just been a casual strike.
Even so, it showed how powerful he truly was—probably no weaker than the Juggernaut.
Plus, Namor was a rare triple-terrain superhuman—strong in the sea, in the air, and on land. A truly well-rounded fighter.
If it really came to a fight, Raymond wasn't sure he could keep Namor from escaping.
None of his personalities—whether Tao Pai Pai or Akainu—had an overwhelming advantage over someone like him, and their active time was limited.
At best, he might be able to force Namor to retreat.
But Namor left without a fight… and left Raymond completely stunned.
"Bro, you're seriously that famous?" Clarice asked, eyes wide with amazement.
"Ahem… just a little," Raymond coughed awkwardly.
Even he didn't know what had just happened. Now wasn't the time to act cool—it felt too awkward—so he changed the subject.
That didn't stop Lorna and Mia from looking at him like he was a superhero.
