Marvel: Rise of the Ultimate AI Chapter 121

Through the submarine's recon device, Spider-Man stared at the holographic display as a shimmering blue bubble slowly expanded on the screen. The Atlantean warship caught within began to blur, its massive form vanishing into the growing azure light.

Then—boom! The bubble burst in a breathtaking flash of sapphire brilliance, blooming like fireworks at the bottom of the sea. The deep ocean exploded into radiant color, an underwater aurora that revealed coral reefs, shoals of fish, and swaying kelp forests in exquisite detail.

As for the unfortunate Atlantean battleship? It had already been reduced to particles within that stunning blue explosion.

Spider-Man blinked, stunned. "Doom… be honest. How many of those missiles do we have left?"

"Three," Doom replied curtly, his voice as frosty as the ocean around them.

Spider-Man's excitement fizzled instantly. "Wait—only three? Why didn't we bring more of those?!"

"If you keep talking, I'll gladly stuff you into the next missile tube myself," Doom said without looking at him, fingers dancing over the console. "In fact, I already thought of a name for the next one—Spider Missile. Thoughts?"

Spider-Man shut his mouth. He had zero desire to be a human-shaped torpedo.

Meanwhile, in another part of the ocean, Namor furrowed his brow. He was expecting word from the first wave of ships that had been dispatched to eliminate the land-dweller submarine—news of an easy victory to boost morale before the grand march.

But so far, there was nothing.

"Haibo," Namor called, "send more vessels to investigate."

"Yes, Your Majesty." Haibo nodded and quickly dispatched three more warships toward the location of the missing squad.

Back in the submarine, Doom's eyes flicked toward the monitor. "Three more incoming."

There was a faint gleam in Doom's eye—the kind of gleam a man gets when he watches something beautifully destructive unfold. He was almost euphoric seeing that last blue firework.

"Great. Looks like we'll need to fire off more 'Spider Missiles,'" Spider-Man muttered, watching the three enemy signals approach. "I was kinda hoping to test this new suit underwater, but hey—why not nuke them instead."

"No need," Doom said quietly. His fingers moved fast over the console, locking onto the three incoming vessels. "Let's send them a proper goodbye."

A new missile—sleek, shimmering, and glowing blue—launched from the side of the submarine like a spear of light. It rocketed through the depths, leaving behind a trail of energy.

Inside one of the Atlantean ships, a soldier was reporting calmly: "No abnormalities detected, continuing approach—wait, what is that?!"

A flash on the radar.

An object glowing with pure energy.

Before anyone aboard could respond, the brilliant azure light filled their field of vision. There was no time to react—only a split-second of realization before everything was swallowed by the sea of light.

Back at Namor's command post, Haibo approached, visibly shaken. "King Namor… we've lost contact with four warships."

Namor slammed his trident into the seabed. A shockwave erupted from the impact, rippling through the ranks of his soldiers. They flinched, many unable to maintain their footing against the raw force of their king's fury.

Namor's power was the greatest in all of Atlantis—and that trident? Forged by the ancient kings themselves. Nearly indestructible, and a conduit for controlling all sea life.

"Useless trash," Namor hissed. "Send the fleet. I want to see who among the land-dwellers dares to challenge Atlantis."

Countless warships and armored sea beasts surged forward like a tidal wave, heading straight for Spider-Man and Doom.

In the submarine, Spider-Man watched the flood of enemy signals on the screen. "Doom… they just keep coming. What's the plan?"

Doom didn't flinch. "I'll fire the last missile as a parting gift."

Spider-Man blinked. "That's… honestly? Very on-brand for you."

The Atlantean soldiers moved with purpose but also confusion. Those four warships had vanished too quickly. Could land-dwellers really have that kind of power? Their submarines had always been inferior.

Suddenly, one soldier at the front caught sight of a glowing object cutting through the water.

"Enemy missile!" he roared.

The brilliant azure light detonated in the middle of the formation. Screams were swallowed by the roar of destruction. The deep sea lit up once again, casting a ghostly glow across the wreckage.

When the light faded, a perfect sphere of nothingness remained. A void in the water nearly five hundred meters wide. Everything—ships, beasts, soldiers—gone.

Spider-Man stared. Swallowed hard. "Now what?"

Doom's reply was grave.
