Marvel: Starting with the Homelander Template Chapter 208

Broken Neck Mountain, New York

Atop the highest peak of the Seven Mountains, two towering metal titans faced each other:

The supreme commanders of the Decepticon invasion—Megatron and Starscream.

> "Lord Megatron… Wiper's entire squad has been annihilated."

Starscream's voice was low and grim—uncharacteristically serious.

Megatron's optics pulsed with disbelief.

> "That unit deployed less than ten minutes ago. Are you saying they were wiped out… that quickly?"

It made no sense. Wiper's strike force was comprised of elite Decepticons—battle-tested veterans forged in the fires of countless wars.

> "Are the mutants truly this powerful?" Megatron's voice deepened, edged with menace.

After his humiliation at the S.H.I.E.L.D. base, he had paid close attention to the so-called mutant threat.

His analysis had been dismissive: they were anomalous humans, dangerous perhaps, but manageable.

Only he had registered as a true threat.

Megatron's assumptions shattered.

> "To annihilate Wiper's unit that fast…" he growled. "Even Optimus Prime's Autobots couldn't do that."

> "My lord…" Starscream hesitated, voice heavy.

"It wasn't the mutants. It was Alex. Alone."

Megatron's roar echoed across the peaks, the sheer force of his fury cracking the mountainside beneath his feet.

> "Are you telling me… one man destroyed Wiper's entire squad?"

Starscream nodded stiffly.

> "Confirmed. He blocked their barrage, dismantled them one by one… and returned unscathed."

A storm raged behind Megatron's optics.

> "How…? How can one human possess such overwhelming power?"

Wiper's unit had been handpicked. Tactical specialists. Heavy hitters.

Designed for precision and annihilation.

And Alex had crushed them—effortlessly.

> "There must be some trick. No organic can wield that kind of might!"

Megatron slammed his fist into the cliffside, sending boulders cascading down the mountain.

> "How can a race of insects produce such a monster?!"

His pride, his conquest, his supremacy—now under siege by a single being.

> "The situation is escalating," Starscream warned.

"With Alex in play… no Decepticon strike force on Earth is safe."

Megatron knew he was right.

Even if they launched multiple squads—Alex could annihilate them one by one.

A Decepticon messenger arrived in a flurry of static and sparks.

> "Another unit has fallen. Manhattan. Mutants again."

> "So… the mutants dare declare war on us now?" Megatron's voice rumbled like thunder.

The defiance. The insult.

They were no longer hiding.

They were challenging him.

> "What are your orders?" Starscream asked, carefully.

> "We gather every mobile unit. Every tank, every jet, every seeker."

"No more probing strikes. No more tests."

> "We strike with full force. And we CRUSH THEM!"

Manhattan, New York City

A red crescent-shaped energy slash arced through the air, slicing clean through the chest of a wounded Decepticon.

Sparks burst from the gash as the machine toppled with a resounding clang.

Slash spun his blade with a flourish, grinning as he watched the enemy collapse.

Around him, the street was littered with shattered Decepticons. Burnt metal. Crushed circuitry. Smoking wreckage.

"Those alien bastards are toast!"

The surviving human soldiers let out cautious cheers—relief mingled with disbelief.

They had expected death.

Instead, they'd been saved.

And not by their own.

By the very people they had marginalized. Feared. Watched.

Their so-called "threat to national security" had become their last line of defense.

A grizzled U.S. commander stepped forward, eyes filled with both humility and disbelief.

"We owe you our lives."

Some of the mutants turned away. Others said nothing.

But Charles Xavier stepped forward, offering a quiet nod.

> "Just doing our part."

No grandstanding. No lectures.

Above them, the clouds darkened.

Far away, engines rumbled.

The war was far from over.

But now, Earth had a champion.

And Megatron would soon learn:

When mutants fight together—

When Alex steps forward—

Even Decepticons should know fear.
