Marvel: Starting with the Homelander Template Chapter 43

"This isn't right—none of this makes sense!"

"There's no way your power is this strong!"

The Decepticon stood there in utter disbelief, completely stunned by the beating Alex had just given him.

Alex wasn't sure if the guy had a working brain, but if he did, it had clearly short-circuited by now.

"I don't believe it!"

With a furious roar, the Decepticon sprang up from the ground and charged at Alex once more, the earth rumbling beneath his feet.

Only to be sent flying again with another crushing blow.

The Decepticon spat out a few metal parts, his confidence and worldview shaken to the core.

This human—was this really the same puny insect he'd once known?

Weren't humans supposed to be weak and fragile?

He started to wonder if he was still dreaming.

While he was dazed, Alex shot up like a human battering ram, soaring nearly ten meters into the air before crashing down toward the Decepticon again.

Having learned from previous encounters, the Decepticon didn't dare meet Alex head-on this time. With a sudden roll across the ground, he barely dodged the incoming fist.

Alex's punch smashed into the ground, creating a deep crater where the Decepticon had just been.

Suddenly, a massive blade assembled from the Decepticon's arm. He gripped it tightly, regaining some of his former bravado.

With that, he slashed the blade toward Alex.

But Alex's eyes lit up with heat vision, twin beams slicing cleanly through the Decepticon's arm like it was Butter, severing the entire limb holding the weapon.

The Decepticon's mind reeled. Since when could humans shoot lasers from their eyes?

While he was still in shock, another heat ray shot out, grazing across his head.

His giant metallic head slammed into the ground.

Moments later, the Decepticon's massive body collapsed beside it, lifeless.

Less than a minute ago, he had been strutting around like a fearsome war machine—now, he was just a heap of scrap metal.

Alex stared at the wreckage in silence.

Decepticons… on Earth?

So this wasn't just the Marvel universe after all.

But then again, Marvel had always been set in a galactic backdrop. Skrulls, Kree, Ego the Living Planet—heck, even Thanos and his army. And let's not forget Thor and Loki.

In comparison, a few Cybertronians didn't seem all that surprising.

Actually, among all these alien races, the Cybertronians might even be considered weak.

No need to trouble the Avengers with them.

Alex quickly moved on from that thought and turned to a new question:

Why was the Decepticon marked as a non-extractable energy source?

The "energy source" part made sense—Transformers were mechanical lifeforms, essentially machines powered by advanced energy systems.

But why couldn't it be extracted?

Could it be… because the Decepticon was considered a living being?

Was the system only able to extract energy from non-living sources?

If that were true… then what about the AllSpark?

The AllSpark and the Decepticons shared the same energy type. In fact, the AllSpark was a more advanced and fundamental source.

So was its energy extractable?

Alex's eyes lit up at the thought.

There was definitely a possibility.

Even if he couldn't confirm it now, it was worth investigating, right?

Now, considering the timeline…

Alex mentally reviewed the plot of the first Transformers movie.

He remembered that the protagonist's ancestor had discovered a frozen Megatron in the Arctic, and his glasses had been imprinted with coordinates to the AllSpark.

That was the key to finding it.

In Transformers 1, both Megatron and the AllSpark were secretly stored beneath the Hoover Dam, right?

Which brought up a critical question:

Had Megatron already been discovered and transported by the government, or was he still frozen somewhere at the poles?

As for the glasses passed down from the protagonist's ancestor? Yeah, that was even more of a joke—no way he could track that down now.

At this point, the Transformers protagonist's dad was probably still in diapers.

Alex had to admit—finding the AllSpark at this point in time would be incredibly difficult.

If he couldn't do it alone, why not get some outside help?

That's right. Alex's thoughts landed squarely on the organization.

It would be a waste not to use such a convenient tool.

S.H.I.E.L.D. was always obsessed with the supernatural, and considering this Decepticon used to be Howard Stark's car, handing it over to them would be completely justified.

It was the perfect cover—logical and seamless.

Alex made his decision with satisfaction.

He looked toward the distant corner of the shop, where Ryan was nervously spying on him, and called out, "You guys have a phone, right?"

Ryan stammered, not even daring to make eye contact.

God above, that scene of Alex casually destroying the Decepticon had left a permanent mark on their minds.

Sure, Alex looked young and handsome—but to them, he was a walking catastrophe.

Alex ignored their reactions and walked straight into the repair shop. In a makeshift office cubicle, he found a rugged-looking phone.

Without hesitation, he picked it up and dialed Howard Stark.

He quickly gave a simple rundown of the situation.

"You're telling me all of this really happened?"

"Stay where you are—I'm coming immediately!"

Howard didn't question him. He gathered his team at once and headed for the garage.
