Marvel: The Psychologist Who Stole Wanda and Gwen's Hearts! Chapter 257

With the medical kit in hand, Gwen and Wanda didn’t waste any more words.

They quickly propped the injured girl up. Her wounds were severe, tangled together with the leather clinging to her skin.

"We’ll have to cut the clothes off. It’s going to hurt."

"She’s already this badly injured. How much worse could the pain get?"

Without hesitation, Wanda tore the girl’s clothes away in one swift motion. Neither she nor Gwen bothered to shield Lorien from the sight.

Lorien froze for a moment at their boldness, then chuckled. "You really don’t treat me like an outsider at all when you do things ."

"Lorien, you might be a flirt, but we know you’re sincere. You don’t fall for women on a whim."

"Right. If you truly didn’t care about this girl, even if she stripped bare in front of you, you wouldn’t react in the slightest."

Gwen and Wanda trusted him completely.

With so many women around Lorien, the fact that the two of them stood apart spoke volumes. They wouldn’t waste jealousy on ordinary women.

Hearing their words, Lorien felt a little moved, though also a little guilty.

It wasn’t that he had no interest in women—it was just that he was particular.

"These wounds... some are burns, others blade cuts, and some from firearms. Clearly, she’s no ordinary person."

"Where exactly did you find her?"

"On a lawn," Wanda answered casually. "When we brought her back, we did consider that she might be dangerous. If she survives but means harm, we’ll just kill her then—no problem."

For Wanda, killing was second nature, effortless and matter-of-fact.

Lorien almost laughed, but her brazenness and confidence only made him like her more.

Gwen and Wanda moved fast, tending to every wound with practiced hands.

Their bandaging was just as efficient, wrapping the girl neatly until only her face was exposed.

Once finished, Gwen tilted the woman’s chin up, examining her closely. "She really is beautiful. Not a bit less than us, Lorien. You’re seriously not the least bit tempted?"

"I don’t even know who she is."

He wasn’t about to be interested in some stranger picked up off the street.

Still, for someone to appear in this small town, wounded so severely—it was obvious she wasn’t ordinary.

If Lorien wanted, he could uncover her identity instantly. But he didn’t bother. There was no need.

He only wanted to do his job in peace, not pile on extra work.

After Gwen and Wanda finished dressing her, Lorien checked her mind briefly.

"If nothing’s wrong, she should wake up tonight or tomorrow morning."

With that, after finishing her treatment, they left her to rest.

By evening, the woman in the guest room twisted in pain.

Sweat poured down her face in heavy drops, soaking the sheets beneath her.

All at once, her eyes snapped open.

She growled, then quickly realized she was in an unfamiliar place. Her combat suit had been replaced with useless protective clothing, swapped out by someone unknown.

Faora’s face darkened, her body tense with vigilance.

Where was this? Had she been taken captive?

She had to find the child. She had to complete the task entrusted to her by General Zod. ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ ꜰʀᴏᴍ nοvelfire.net

She pressed her lips together. The pain from her wounds was no more than an ant bite to her—hardly worth noticing.

She stripped off the useless clothing, staring at the layers of bandages wrapped tightly around her. With a single tug, she tore them all away.

She searched everywhere for her combat suit, but after a long while with no luck, she was forced to put the flimsy clothes back on.

Stepping into the living room, she found the place eerily silent.

Faora lifted her foot, intending to head for the door—or maybe slip out a window—but then she heard it: breathing. It was faint, but her ears were sharp. She instantly realized she wasn’t alone in this house.

She moved to the door of a white-painted room.

The knob turned easily in her hand. She slipped inside without a sound, her eyes adjusting to the darkness until the scene became clear.

On the bed lay three people: a man in the center, flanked by two stunning women.

Were these the ones who had taken her?

What did they want with her?

Faora’s gaze hardened, her eyes filling with murderous intent as she slowly stretched out her hand and began moving toward them.

But before she could get close, the woman on the outer side suddenly rolled up from the bed and struck at her.

The other woman, nestled in the man’s arms, remained seated, watching her quietly.

Faora trembled with fury.

If she’d known this would happen, she should’ve escaped earlier instead of trying to fight. Clearly, her captors were anything but ordinary.

"Looks like we saved a wolf in sheep’s clothing."

Gwen yawned, curling lazily against Lorien’s chest.

She’d been sleeping so soundly, only to be woken by this nonsense. It was infuriating.

A loud crash rang out.

Faora was slammed against the wall, Wanda’s hand gripping her throat.

Scarlet light glowed in Wanda’s eyes.

Her fingers clenched tighter and tighter.

But Faora’s eyes held no fear. She grabbed Wanda’s arm and twisted hard—

Wanda’s arm snapped under the force.

Faora hit the floor, rolled, and bolted from the room.

Expressionless, Wanda reset her broken arm with a sharp twist.

She stepped out after her, then paused. Turning back to Gwen and Lorien, still seated on the bed, she said calmly, "You two keep sleeping. I’ll be back in a minute. Don’t worry—I’ll bring her back."

With that, Wanda shot out of the room in pursuit.
